1984 WESTERLY SEALORD 39 "DEFIANT"

Westerly, based in the UK, built 42 Sealord 39s over a period of four years.

DEFIANT is hull #22.

The Sealord model is designed with a deep center cockpit, and ALL running rigging is led to her cockpit providing safety in weather.

With her Whitlock Mamba Rod steering, oversized electric winches, new mainsail and a Ballast/Displacement ratio of 43, DEFIANT can hold her own doing offshore work.

Other notable improvements include :

2009 Volvo D2 / Lithium batteries / Garmin electronics / New fuel tank / New salon and cockpit cushions and New "Handcraft Mattress" in both cabins.

DEFIANT is designed with a passageway to her aft stateroom.
