Not much expense has been spared in recent years to ensure dependability, which included the replacement of both long blocks in the last 2 years and this is besides the regular winter attention from the yard.

This 280 CX1 is quite sharp and the exterior certainly doesn't look its age at all, and even though the interior looks slightly dated, it is clean and shows little sign of wear.

The overall layout includes the extended bathing platform, leading to an open cockpit with ample seating for up 6 adults. Forward of this is the helm station with easy access to the straightforward engine instrumentation and controls, GPS plotter and VHF. The boat does sport an arch, which allows convenient bimini and cockpit cover. The windshield has an opening center section, which allows easy access to the foredeck for mooring purposes or sun bathing.

Below decks, is a full sized head with enclosed shower, while the galley consists of an electric stove, refrigerator/freezer and reverse cycle air-conditioning which works very well. Sleeping accommodations are two double berths, one forward and the other aft, beneath the helm station.

The current owner is downsizing and is willing to allow new owners the use of the current slip for the rest of this season.

A microwave oven is standard, while a TV/VCR is available as an option. Plus, the 280 boasts a spacious forward double berth and a fixed double berth aft. In both cases, the sleeping areas can be curtained off for privacy or left open to provide an unsurpassed living space for a boat in this size range. The midships head, located to port, offers full standing headroom and a shower.
