INTRODUCTION

The Flying Dutchman 12 is a sought-after classic design from the golden days of Tayana - stable, comfortable, beautiful, and ergonomic. She boasts a first-rate interior finish, large tankage, abundant storage and many amenities normally found on larger yachts. Notably, she has the desirable 3-cabin layout, and a custom 63ft mast which means she is ICW-capable. This example has benefited from two extensive refits in recent memory and represents an excellent value**, especially when compared to others in her class. Lying Portsmouth, RI, for a tax-free sale.

From Cruising World:

“The FD-12 is a moderately fast, well-appointed, comfortable world cruiser. In our minds, positive flotation in a cruising boat is a big plus.

We’d like to see more boats built with it.”

** The sellers are disclosing that they have been made aware of elevated moisture in some areas of the deck and hull coring, as is often found in boats of this vintage. The vessel has been priced accordingly.
