Description

The Back Cove 29, a traditional Downeast look with head turning performance!

Beautiful 2-owner Downeast Cruiser. The current owners purchased her in 2020. Following several upgrades, "Higher Ground" has received regular maintenance and upgrades meeting and exceeding the respected manufacturers high standards. The Back Cove 29, traditional spoon bow and gently sloped transom turn heads at every marina! With its comforting cherry wood interior and spacious cockpit, you will feel the elegance of this yacht every time you step onboard. "Higher Ground" performs even better than she looks. With an extremely fuel-efficient and easy to maintain Volvo V6 engine, deep-vee hull, trim tabs, and joystick controlled bow and stern thrusters, the boat is a dream to cruise, and is as simple as it gets to maneuver in tight marinas. The boat is perfect for a cruising couple or small family seeking simplicity, comfort, Maine-built quality, and classic style. Custom sunshade for the cockpit provides nice shade when at anchor or in the harbor. She is currently berthed in River Dunes Harbor Marina in Oriental, NC. The boat includes numerous upgrades as well as a custom full Sunbrella winter cover.
