Description

Back Cove Yachts and the design team from sister company, Sabre Yachts, collaborated to create this simple but elegant powerboat range. The styling was to be reminiscent of the Maine lobster boat. A single diesel engine and standard bow/stern thrusters were chosen for efficiency and maneuverability in tight spaces and the handsome traditional styling would include an elegant cherry wood trimmed interior. Features Twin AC units in the Helmdeck & a THIRD in Stateroom. The Back Cove 34 strikes a particular balance between being spacious and comfortable while remaining economical and easy to handle.

34 Back Cove Vessel Walkthrough

Below deck is a large and comfortable island berth and a convertible L-settee which can be isolated from the cabin with a curtain. To starboard a large head with separate stall shower. On the helm deck, a full galley stretches out aft of the helm seat and to port, a dinette that can seat four adults in complete comfort, is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal on board. Her inlaid table is a fine example of the Maine boat builder’s craftsmanship and tradition, evident throughout the Back Cove 34.

Forward of the dinette, a double mate’s seat is a comfortable perch for the navigator. The helm deck is airy and bright with overhead pilot hatches, opening side windows and a center opening windshield. A Stidd helm chair provides comfort for the helmsman underway. Her aft Polycarbonate enclosure provides clear visibility and optimum climate control in extreme weather.

In her cockpit is large, with L-shaped bench seat and a 110 Yeti w/cushion provides comfortable lounging spots while underway or when anchored in a peaceful cove. Her Electric SureShade retractable canvas awning provides shelter from the sun. Engine access is extraordinary, as the helm deck, including the port side dinette, lifts hydraulically to expose the yacht’s mechanical systems below.
