Carver C40 Sedan Bridge Vessel Walk Through

Boarding this yacht can be done via the swim platform through the starboard side transom gate to the cockpit. Once in the cockpit you can enter the main cabin, go up to the flybridge or up either side deck walkway to the bow. Entering the main cabin from the cockpit through the glass french doors the main cabin features a U-shaped dinette that will comfortably seat six around the granite table top (2019), a love seat port aft and an L-shaped galley port forward. Stepping down into the companionway the berthing area features a guest stateroom to port with a connecting guest head further forward. The master stateroom is all the way forward in the bow with an ensuite head to port. Access to the engine room is through a hatch in the cockpit deck.

The Carver C40 Sedan Bridge can comfortably sleep four in its two staterooms and an additional two at the convertible dinette in the main cabin. The master stateroom is forward in the bow with an ensuite head and the guest stateroom is aft and to starboard of the master stateroom with the connected guest head between the two staterooms.

Main Cabin

The spacious main cabin is open and airy with large windows all around and the large glass french doors aft with screens. To starboard, the U-shaped dinette with granite table top (2019) will comfortably seat six and a large Insignia flat screen TV with DVD player and Apple TV receiver is adjacent to port above the movable storage love seat. The open L-shaped galley is forward to port and features all the necessary appliances for live aboard comfort. There are pull up blinds throughout the main cabin and the sole is mostly carpet (with protective canvas covers) and laminate in the galley area. There is a hatch to a large pantry in the galley sole.

The master stateroom is forward in the bow and features a centered island queen berth (new mattress 2019) with a substantial amount of storage including under berth storage, hanging lockers and above berth storage cabinets. The space also features four traditional stainless steel round portlights with screens, an overhead deck hatch with screen and blackout shade, reading lamps, an Insignia flat screen TV with DVD player and the sole is carpeted. The ensuite head features a Corian vanity with an above counter porcelain sink, under counter storage, a two door mirrored medicine cabinet, a separate shower stall and a Bemis electric toilet with storage cabinet above.

Carver C40 Sedan Bridge Guest Stateroom

The guest stateroom is to starboard aft of the master stateroom and guest head. The stateroom features a queen wall to wall berth, large hanging locker, shelf and carpeted sole. The guest head is forward and can be accessed from the guest stateroom with a private door.

Carver C40 Sedan Bridge Guest Head

The guest head is located between the master and guest staterooms on the starboard side. The guest head is a wet head and features a Corian vanity with above counter porcelain sink, under counter storage, a two door mirrored medicine cabinet, a Bemis electric toilet, a single traditional stainless steel round portlight and wrap around shower curtain.

Carver C40 Sedan Bridge Cockpit

The large cockpit offers near full cover and a large built in L-shaped bench seat aft along the transom and wrapping to port. There is storage under the seats and a canvas cover for protecting the seat cushions. There are molded steps to both side walkways and a molded staircase up to the flybridge. Under the stairs to the flybridge a Raritan ice maker is installed and along the starboard side of the cockpit is a wet bar that includes an electric grill and stainless steel sink with storage underneath. The deck and stair treads are covered with a snap on sea grass floor covering.

The tender is mounted aft of the cockpit on the swim platform. St. Croix davits (2017) support the tender and outboard motor. The tender is a 2017 Gala A270 Rib with a Tohatsu 9.8 hp outboard motor. There is also storage in the transom.

Carver C40 Sedan Bridge Flybridge

The large flybridge is accessed from the cockpit via a molded stairway to starboard. There is a full helm forward to starboard with two captains chairs and an L-shaped bench seat with under seat storage port wrapping aft. The deck is covered with a snap on sea grass floor covering. The flybridge is fully enclosed by a bimini and isinglas enclosure and there are protective covers for all the seating, the helm and the bimini. Aft of the enclosure is the upper aft deck which has a large sunbathing pad on the deck.
