“Hideaway” is a 1996 Hatteras 52 Cockpit Motor yacht that has been cared for by her current owners since October of 2010. Before that she was a local boat to Texas with good history.

Overview

An impressive blend of cruising luxury and engineering excellence, the 52 Cockpit MY was one of the most successful Hatteras models produced in recent years. The styling was considered bold back in the 90’s, a genuine departure from the traditional Hatteras motor yacht look. Her modified – V hull carried more deadrise than previous Hatteras hulls, and a deep keel added excellent directional stability. Several floorplans were offered in the Hatteras 52 during her production years. The standard layout was a three-stateroom affair with a dinette forward and a wide-open salon – a big boat interior made possible by locating two staterooms aft of the salon. Because this configuration made for a rather compact master stateroom, an alternate floorplan introduced in 1994 moved both guest stateroom forward of the salon while relocating the dinette into the salon. Topside, one of the more attractive features of the 52 CMY is her huge full-width afterdeck with cockpit below. Additional features include a spacious engine room an innovative exhaust system, wide sidedecks, and seating for eight on the flybridge. Standard 720hp 8v92’s will cruise at 19-20 knots.
