"Novia" the Nordhavn Coastal Pilot offers a unique opportunity for someone who understands great quality and seakeeping designs that Nordhavn's are known for with some speed to get to the destination is less time than going 8 knots.

She offers an 17 knot cruise with the ability to pull back to 8 knots for fuel efficiencies and longer passages. 

Every aspect of this Nordhavn was designed well and implemented with the finest equipment, the Cummins engines combined with Onan generator and the Marine Exhaust system Exhaust is just the beginning. 

She was built with weight in mine have areas to be light as possible using core materials, and innovative techniques like vacuum bagging and resin infusing, keeping the bottom a solid fiberglass construction for strength.

In the design, the fuel tanks are located just forward of the engines in the forward engine room to have the weight well balanced for a great COG (Center of Gravity) This helps in the overall performance with great stability.

Vessel Walkthrough

he 59 Coastal Pilot makes for a great cruising yacht with for a couple in mind because of the ease of maneuvering. The overall layout is extremely comfortable for extended cruising with a large aft deck where you spend most of your time, large flybridge. 

Entering the galley and salon from the oversized aft deck through a single door or paragraph doors that open up the aft bulkhead completely to give the entire main deck an alfresco feel. The galley in uniquely located just forward of the aft deck with a full array of full size appliances and a peninsula galley counter top.

The salon is just forward of the galley and to port with a L shaped sofa and a occasional chair with a cocktail table for casual entertaining and relaxing. 

The lower helm with complete controls and navigational equipment offers the comfort of cruising from your own living room with excellent vision port and starboard and aft. 

Going forward and down several steps is a day head which also doubles as the forward VIP stateroom ensuite head. The VIP stateroom is all the way forward with a walk around queen size berth placed on centerline. 

Going aft from the lower foyer is a small hallway with excellent storage outboard and a washer and dryer set behind louvered doors. 

The 3 rd Guest stateroom is to Port just down the hallway with upper and lower berths.

The Master is all the way aft and full beam master, walk around king berth and a ensuite head with separate shower stall. The full beam master makes for a very comfortable living space not normally seen on yachts of this size. Port and Starboard port lights are large to offer natural light in with custom electric blinds.

The engine room is walk in from the port corner safe cockpit area with an large door, she has a stand up engine room with a rare ability to walk around both engines and a large are aft for storage of toys and spare parts, not normally seen on yachts of this size.

 

Salon

The Interior is finished in quarter sawn African Cherry, with accent woods to compliment the main wood feature. The salon is just forward of the galley with a large L shape settee a cocktail table and occasional barrel swivel chair.

A smart TV is on the aft wall of the salon, The salon helm and galley are all well appointed and in ease of access for a couple that wants to cruise extensively.

Galley

The Galley is uniquely positioned in the aft of the salon and to port for easy entertainment with the large aft deck. A full size refrigerator (2021) is located to starboard and just inside the aft salon/galley doors.
