Description

Water Song is a 2005 Sea Ray 420 Sedan Bridge. She spent most of her life in fresh water before doing the great loop with her previous owners in 2020-2021. She is decked out with an inverter and plenty of batteries. She has just had her running gear maintenance, fresh bottom paint, and a full detail. Her 1000 hour service was completed in early 2022. Her layout offers easy boarding and plenty of entertainment space at water level. The hydraulic swim platform is a fantastic upgrade and makes for easy dinghy launch or a place to play in the water.

Walkthrough

As you approach the vessel you will notice her sleek profile, sporty yet spacious. She has a hydraulic platform housing a 2022 Highfield 310FCT. There is a storage locker on her transom for your hoses, and fenders. As you enter the cockpit you will notice SeaDek flooring, a bench seat with storage to aft, a storage locker to starboard, a small fridge to port, a sliding glass door welcoming you inside, and fiberglass molded stairs leading you to the flybridge. As you climb the stairs to the bridge you can exit and take the catwalk to the bow where you will find sun pads, storage lockers, and your windlass/anchor. Coming back to the stairs notice the handrails along the catwalk for safe passage. Once to the top of the stairs the flybridge hosts a new full enclosure, u-shaped dinette, a storage table, and 2 helm chairs. Her helm is equipped with newer Garmin Chart Plotters, Garmin Wind Meter, and Raymarine autopilot. She also has the cruise feature allowing for easy slow passes when running. (if you are not familiar with this feature call and I'll tell you more!). As you turn to exit you will see a hatch door that seals over the stairs to keep your guests safe as well as reducing the noise below.

As you enter the sliding glass doors from the cockpit you will find a loveseat directly to starboard and a full size sofa that pulls out into a bed to port. On the aft wall to port you will find the electric control panel, a VHF radio, and the inverter controls. As you advance through the Salon you will see a raised L-shaped dinette to port and down a few steps the galley to starboard. The galley has a 2 burner flat surface electric stove, a convection microwave oven, and a single basin sink. In addition to her many cabinets in the galley she also has a full pantry closet. Under the stairs you will find her combo washer/dryer. There is a hatch in the floor of the galley that could be used for more storage and also houses your water manifold.

Moving forward you will encounter the VIP cabin to port. It has 2 twin berths but also offers filler cushions for those that enjoy a larger berth. This cabin also has a hanging locker. The guest head can be accessed through the main hallway and is located on the port side. It has a good size separate shower, vacuflush head and a vanity with storage under the sink and behind the mirror. Continuing forward you will find the Master stateroom. It has a centerline island queen, 2 hanging lockers, and several drawers under the bed. To starboard you will find an ensuite head with walk-in shower and storage under the sink and behind the mirror.

The engine room is accessible through a hatch in the cockpit or through hatches in the salon if more major access is needed.

Curtis Stokes was born in Lewes, Delaware and grew up in nearby Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and St. Michaels, MD until he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1992. Curtis grew up on the water and around boats through many years of fishing, sailing and hunting up and down the East Coast of the U.S. and The Bahamas.

While attending Washington College, in Chestertown, Maryland, Curtis decided to obtain his real estate license and joined his father’s real estate firm, Anderson-Stokes Realtors. Curtis became president of the firm after his father’s death and led the company through its expansion to 20 offices and expanded the publicly traded company into insurance, advertising and development. The company was sold in 1991 and Curtis decided to pursue his real love of the water and made yachting his career.

Curtis’ yachting career includes everything from a 75’ Trumpy to a 180’ Feadship, 2½ circumnavigations and a half dozen Atlantic Ocean crossings. He has been associated with and enjoyed worldwide cruising on such well known vessels as EXCELLENCE, FIFFANELLA, OUR TOY, MOECCA, RENEGADE, KISSES and HUNTRESS. Curtis also gained experience as sales manager at Hatteras Yachts, in New Bern, NC, where he helped develop and sell new models and train and coordinate his dealer network.

Curtis then spent six years as a very successful yacht sales broker with The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals, Inc. Curtis was consistently a top producer at the firm. Curtis decided to form his own yacht sales and charter firm September 1, 2009, which took off on a very successful start, even in a recession! Curtis has grown the company to multiple offices and 50 full time sales associates located around the US; and he has sold virtually every type and size of yacht and boat possible.

Curtis held a USCG 3000 ton All Oceans Master license, UK MCA Class IV Master certificate, Cayman Islands Master certificate and a PADI Divemaster certificate. He is also a former Emergency Medical Technician, firefighter and CPR instructor.

Curtis is an active member of the America’s Great Loop Cruiser Association (AGLCA), Superyacht Society, United States Superyacht Association, Marine Trawler Owner Association (MTOA), DeFever Cruiser Club, Seven Seas Cruising Association, Billfish Foundation, International Gamefish Association and Ducks Unlimited.

Curtis also is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB), a member of the International Yacht Broker Association, Yacht Broker Association of America and the Northwest Yacht Broker Association.
