1988 Catalina
31' (9.63m) - Serenity
This a great boat, for those moving up from a day-sailor or keen to get into sailing. The Catalina 30's are particularly easy to handle with low maintenance and running costs, yet offer good performance for the odd weekday evening race or quick cruising to the islands or around the coast.

View Full DetailsGeneral Information
This is a remarkably clean boat and not just for its age.
The current owners have been quite meticulous in looking after her, and other than some fresh varnish she would look quite sharp.
The interior is very nicely appointed, with fresh cushions and matching floor carpeting, while the interior oiled teak is clean and even shows some luster, there are negligible marks from staining.
On deck one will notice some gelcoat crazing in stressed locations but these seem quite localized, however, there is evidence of moisture having entered the core in some areas and is why the boat is keenly priced. Also on deck, the dodger and bimini awning hardly seem to have any wear on them at all and the laminated mainsail and furling genoa are in very good shape.
