Refit

Running gear:

  • Props removed
  • Cutlass bearings replaced in all 4 struts
  • Shafts measured for run-out
  • Props tuned by Hale propeller
  • Coated with prop speed and reinstalled
  • Inspected bi-weekly by divers
  • Zincs replaced as needed
  • Trim tabs were removed, blasted and painted with new Bennett actuators, and position sensors feeding data over NMEA 2k network


Engine Room

  • Mains 1000 hour services performed
  • Gear oil changed
  • Primary and secondary ECMS replaced
  • Backup battery voltage was getting low - replaced with re-manufactured ECM units
  • Exhaust riser/mixing elbows replaced
  • Coolant flushed
  • All hoses replaced and upgraded to silicone hose
  • Valves added to raw water manifold to facilitate ease of winterizing and priming of raw water pumps
  • Port generator replaced
  • Starboard generator serviced

  • Blue and white separate underwater lights


Hullside, Cabinhouse, Exterior

  • Gelcoat stripped to bare glass, faired with high build, then sealed with primer
  • Hull painted in awlcraft majestic blue, red boot stripe, 5 coats of clear, sanded and cleared an additional 3 coats of clear applied.
  • All through hulls in the boot stripe line were replaced and sealed prior to boot stripe being painted
  • House was painted in awlcraft white, with metallic black mask, visor, and bridge corners


Foredeck

  • All paint stripped, deck hatches removed, bow rail removed
  • Deck painted Awlcraft white
  • Non skid re-applied
  • All unnecessary holes filled and faired
  • Toe rail custom faux teak painted
  • New Bomar hatches with screens and shades installed
  • Davit was removed and stored
  • Deck plate installed so it may be reinstalled for future use
  • Pump is still installed in the closet of the master stateroom

  • Cockpit walls, mezzanine and aft bulkhead painted in awlcraft white.
  • Custom utility panels fabricated and installed for port or starboard connections when moored in port, allows a clear aft deck with no trip hazards

  • Cubed ice maker on starboard side 240 volt for efficient low amperage running

  • All cabinet work was done with high quality teak plywood, then sealed, primed and faux teak painted, clear coated, wet sanded and buffed.
  • Television was moved from starboard side to a custom enclosure, seamlessly built off the galley, on a lift, all controlled through the control 4 automation system
  • Hertz speakers installed overhead, custom sub-woofer installed under dining area seating
  • Dining table made of custom cnc cut teak, seating reupholstered


Galley

  • Galley area reconfigured, moving sink to a more accessible area to port, out from under the cabinets
  • All cabinetry painted in faux teak to match
  • Wolfe appliances installed, microwave, range, and steam oven was added
  • Range has a ducted hood with blower van vented to the outside
  • Refrigerators were replaced with one 2 drawer refrigerator unit and one fridge/freezer combo unit both by Sub-Zero
