Mainship 34 Overview

Copacetic is a well maintained 2006 Mainship 34 with a beautiful blue hull. She features an island queen size berth forward in the master stateroom, a full head with separate enclosed shower stall, bow and stern thrusters and a new davit system for the tender. She is powered by a single Yanmar 6LYA-STP 370 hp main engines and 8.5 kw Kohler generator. Copacetic is a Great Loop veteran and is outfitted to do it again or other coastal cruising.

Mainship 34 Vessel Walkthrough

From the swim platform, you walk through the transom door to the covered aft deck. Once in the cockpit, you can walk forward to the fore deck via either side deck, walk up the molded-in steps to the flybridge or through the cockpit double doors or starboard helm door into the salon. Once inside the salon, you will find a cushioned teak folding chair with folding teak side table to port and a breakfast bar with two wicker stools to port forward, a sleeper sofa to starboard and the lower helm, with a side deck access door starboard forward . Walk forward and step down to find the U-shaped galley to port, head with enclosed shower to starboard and master stateroom forward. Engine room access is via the hinged lower portion of the flybridge steps in the cockpit.

Mainship 34 Accommodations

Copacetic offers a master stateroom forward with an island queen size berth and direct access to the head with enclosed shower. The salon sleeper\sofa converts into a double size berth.

Mainship 34 Salon

The salon offers a sleeper sofa to starboard and the lower helm to starboard forward, a cushioned teak folding chair with folding teak side table to port and two wicker stools port forward at the breakfast bar. The sole is a marine grade teak and holly vinyl flooring, there are opening side windows with blinds, opening center windshield, double doors to the cockpit with a curtain, a retractable screen door and no-see-um screens for all opening doors and windows. The salon also features a small fold up desk to starboard aft, a wine cabinet port aft, a JVC KD-DV4200 stereo, JCV 12 disc cd player with speakers, an ONN flat screen smart TV with Glomex antenna gain controller.

Michael was born and raised in the lower peninsula of Michigan and was exposed early to the waters of the Great Lakes, spending a good amount of his childhood enjoying fishing and pleasure cruising on these waters. Michael enlisted in the United States Navy as an Electronic Technician and spent over four years at sea in the Mediterranean, North Atlantic, Caribbean and Western Pacific.

As an honorably discharged veteran of the Persian Gulf War, Michael made the decision to take the skills and experiences he acquired during his military service to the civilian market where he has spent over 20 years in various technology related industries and business operations roles. Michael holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and his international business experience provides him with an exceptional foundation to manage all aspects of the yacht buying and selling business worldwide.

Michael joined Curtis Stokes in 2013 looking for a new adventure in the yacht brokerage business, following his passion for boating. Michael is the senior yacht broker with Curtis Stokes & Associates, Inc. He focusing almost exclusively on assisting great loop members to help them find the right boat for their adventure and sell the boat when they are ready.

Michael continues to own and operate his Great Loop yacht, The Perch out of Charleston, SC where he is also the harbor host. He completed the Great Loop in the 2016-2017 fleet and is planning to get his platinum status in 2022. Michael’s love of the water and boating continues below the surface as he is a certified scuba diver, diving primarily in Mexico and Florida. Additionally Michael holds a Private Pilot’s license.
