Tour of Tortuga Blanca

Walkthrough:

As you approach from the dock on the water, this one is a standout head-turner. Her plum bow, rounded stern and widebody look is classic styling yet the semi displacement hull with full keel, large rudders is a modern seaworthy design with an amazing ride and very maneuverable.

You can board from the spacious integrated platform or from either side on to wide side decks. Boarding from the stern swim platform you step down two steps through the transom door on to a spacious aft nonskid cockpit. The rounded stern design provides more usable deck space for port and starboard built in seating for six, and a unique folding teak table and chairs (seats 6 open) for an alfresco dining option. The hardtop extends over of the aft deck providing sun and rain protection. An in-deck hatch provides access to the engine room and lazarette. This is in addition to the wheelhouse deck engine room access. From the cockpit four teak and glass bifold doors provide entrance to the wheelhouse (helm & seating area). When fully opened the wheelhouse and cockpit become one spacious contiguous area. This unique feature makes a seamless space, great for entertaining.

From the cockpit moving forward around the sides there are wide uncluttered decks with high stainless-steel handrails continuing around the bow pulpit. The side decks are, highlighted with, a teak capped toe rail. The forward bow deck has a large lazarette providing lots of storage and access to dedicated batteries powering the bow thruster and windless. Handrails are also found on the top the house as you move along the sides.

The wheelhouse helm area is unique, providing a panoramic view for the captain and quest. The helm seating is on the starboard in front of a well configured helm will all electronics and engine controls within easy reach. Below the helm seat is a built-in refrigerator with freezer compartment. On the port side of the wheelhouse is an L-shaped settee covered with “Alcantara” fabric from Italy an exceptionally durable yet soft super fabric.

Four wide steps downward provide easy access to the salon dinning and galley area. The first impression is “WOW” as old-world artisanship combined with modern appliances provide for a comfortable stylish galley and dining area. The use of teak walls and doors combined with white overhead bead board style paneling provides a richly unique, yet cozy feel. The galley is to starboard with an adjacent dining area. The seating is an L-shaped settee covered in blue Alcantara fabric with under seat storage. A fixed dining table with inlay and under table draw storage is a focal point. On the port side of the solon are solid teak doors. In order: aft is the guest stateroom, midship the head, and forward the owner’s stateroom.

The owner’s stateroom has excellent storage with draws and lockers, full length mirror, two opening port lights and an overhead hatch all with covering treatments. The focal point is an island queen surrounded by beautiful teak shelving and built-in storage draws and lockers. The bed is framed by two reading lights.

The Head has success from solon dining area and is well designed and bright. The space is white with teak for the cabinetry and trim. The countertop is made of light colored "Silestone" with storage located beneath. The head is an electric vacuum-flush style made by Tecma, with a macerating unit providing a push button flush. The shower area is large and shares space with the head and closes from the rest of this area with a bifold style sliding door.

The Guest stateroom is located port side aft of the Head. Accommodations are two single berths one aft and one forward. Aft berth is lower than forward berth with storage beneath and the forward berth higher and has a large locker and drawers below. Directly outboard is a large hanging locker and just aft of this is more shelf storage closed with louvered doors.

The galley located to starboard, is stylish and functional with Silestone counter tops, three a burner Kenyon stove, microwave / convection, and under- counter Indel refrigerator (AC/DC). There is a second refrigerator under the Wheelhouse Helm seat and a Rovsun (AC) freezer aft in salon under the entry stairs.
