Nordic Tugs are built commercial solid and simple for ease of ownership and reduced maintenance costs as all systems are accessible for inspection and service. 

Built of a semi-displacement hull that leans towards the performance end of that classification, Nordic Tugs have the ability to run at economical displacement speeds (7.2 knots and 1.7 GPH) yet have the power to cruise comfortably at 11-13 knots and often top out at 16 knots! This speed capability comes in handy when the sea state deteriorates as when running at higher speeds, the boat becomes more stable, unlike most trawler designs that lack this desirable capability. The long standing popularity of Nordic Tugs is a testament to the designs appeal to knowledgeable boaters who appreciate the designs practicality, especially for use in PNW waters.

Accommodations

Entering from the cockpit of the boat and three steps down will put you in the galley/salon. The L shaped galley on the port side of the boat is equipped with a Propane Force 10 2 burner stove oven combo, Stainless Steel single tub sink and Nova Kool fridge freezer side by side (replaced in 2021). Ample storage for utensils and supplies.

To the starboard is a large shaped L Settee. The Settee will sit 4 comfortably and can pull out to make a secondary berth. New Coverings on the Valences that store the dual sheer/blackout shades. New Amtico on the sole runs throughout the boat. The forced air Ardic furnace will keep the boat toasty on the cold nights. 

Two stairs up to the pilothouse and two more down to the forward stateroom. This boat is the original 'A' configuration with the birth set off to the starboard side. 

The head is located to Starboard as well with a stall shower and new Tecma head.  

Pilothouse

With fresh upholstery the Nordic Tug Pilothouse is hard to beat. Light and airy, this is a wonderful space to pilot to your next destination or you can open both port and starboard side doors and enjoy your morning coffee with a commanding view.
