Yacht Broker Bill Sudek

Bill Sudek was born and raised on the upper Chesapeake Bay making his playground the Seneca Creek and Middle River. Fishing and crabbing on john boats and small runabouts until his high school years led him into center consoles for his striper fishing and twin engine performance boats for cruising the Chesapeake Bay. Fishing the Florida Keys, Costa Rica, Belize and the Caribbean have been his life dream and passion.

Bill and his wife Susie have 3 daughters. While the girls were young, most summer weekends were spent on their Wellcraft express cruiser and mornings with his girls in the dingy exploring the back coves of the Bay.

After being certified as an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic, Bill started working for a regional airline and then for over 10 years as a line mechanic for American Airlines. Troubleshooting and problem solving skills became his strength as a mechanic and transferred to personal skills.

He joined the sales team with his father-in-law to help build the family office supply business in Baltimore which later was sold to a national office supplier. Bill purchased and ran a kitchen and bath design/remodeling business servicing the Annapolis and Baltimore areas for the past 16 years.

In 2021, Bill and Susie purchased a 47’ Sealine and took a long-term cruise from the Chesapeake down the Intercoastal spending the winter in Marathon, Florida Keys where Bill met Curtis Stokes. After adventuring out to the Dry Tortugas and back up to Carolina Beach in NC, Bill and Susie are now planning to make the Wilmington NC area their permanent home.

Bill completed the Yacht Broker Institute LLC course “Fundamentals & Essentials of Yacht Brokerage” and is licensed as a Yacht and Ship salesperson in Florida.
