Dru is from Charleston,South Carolina and was introduced to boating at a very young age. He spent his time fishing on the coast of Charleston and Lake Marion. His grandfather got him hooked on fishing and the love of the water.

He entered the boating industry after conquering careers in the restaurant business. Dru has operated and owned a boat dealership in Charleston for the last 14 years. There his dealership stored, serviced, bought and brokered boats. They average selling over 200 boats a year. Dru’s heart is in developing great relationships with customers, making the sales process enjoyable and memorable for everyone.

Dru and his wife Kelly were married in 2001 and I have two beautiful daughters, Avie and Kai. They moved to Palm Coast to assist with taking care of a sick family member. They fell in love with Palm Coast and started a program “Alzheimer’s on the Water” where they take families affected by the disease on the water for free, sharing their love for the water. Palm Coast is now called home. Boating, fishing, cooking, and golf or amongst Dru’s favorite interests yet he says his proudest moment is being a Dad. Every day on the water is a good day!!! Dru holds his 100 ton OUPV Captains license.
