Lloyd Wilson grew up in the storied coastal town of Marblehead, Massachusetts, where his lifelong connection to the water began at the age of six, sailing and boating with his father and friends. Immersed early in New England’s rich maritime culture, Lloyd developed a deep respect for seamanship, craftsmanship, and life on the water.

In his early twenties, Lloyd began working at Marblehead Trading Company, specializing in detailing and bottom painting. His reputation for precision and reliability quickly led to a contract overseeing detail-oriented work at Dion’s Yacht Yard in Salem, Massachusetts. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for his deep understanding of vessel maintenance, condition, and value.

Alongside his marine career, Lloyd’s passion for automobiles led him to build and operate a successful buyer’s service business that spanned more than two decades, sharpening his skills in client advocacy, negotiation, and high-value transactions.

Lloyd’s true calling, however, has always been boating and sailing. He has owned, restored, and sailed multiple vessels, ultimately purchasing a 65-foot sailing yacht. After earning his U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License, he launched his own charter company, spending ten summers chartering throughout New England. He later expanded operations to the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he owned and operated a second charter sailboat for four additional years.

Upon returning to New England, Lloyd served as captain for a high-end private mariner’s club based in Boston and Miami. Over the years, he has also owned and operated several twin-diesel powerboats, giving him broad experience across both sail and power vessels.

With decades of hands-on ownership, chartering, captaining, and transactional experience, Lloyd brings practical knowledge, integrity, and a client-first approach to every yacht brokerage relationship.

Lloyd is now based in Fort Lauderdale, FL and assisting clients in marketing and purchasing yachts and boats in South Florida and beyond.
