Yacht Broker Tristan Weiser

Tristan Weiser is based in our Delaware City, DE office focused on Delaware & Southern New Jersey area yacht and boat sales. He was born & raised in South Jersey where his life has always been centered around the water. Being brought up near Cape May, New Jersey, he spent most of his free time and nearly all of his summers fishing the back bays and inter-coastal waterways with his best friend/Grandfather who was an avid fisherman and boater all his life. From a young age he was determined to make a living from his passion towards the ocean.

While Tristan’s back-bay fishing trips gradually turned into 100 mile offshore canyon runs, his passion for a life on the water never changed. At 18 he moved to Fort Lauderdale for college where he gained a bachelors degree in Marine Biology and a minor in business/leadership from Nova Southeastern University in 2018 where he also gained a new perspective on his love for the ocean and boating.

He quickly took up freediving and spearfishing which stoked his passion even more and eventually landed a job as a deckhand on a 45 meter yacht in North Miami. In his 4 years in South Florida, he also worked as a subcontractor on a Department of Defense training vessel out of Port Everglades doing a multitude of training operations, as well as a researcher out of the Guy Harvey Institute of Oceanography where he did a lot of field work and focused primarily on local shark species’. Even with his new jobs, he never got on a boat without either a fishing rod or his dive mask.

Tristan currently holds his USCG 100 ton masters license. Outside of his work, he is an avid outdoorsman and surfer, often traveling to obscure islands or beaches around the world searching for bigger waves with fewer people.

His passion for the ocean has never dimmed and he feels most at home on or in the water. Tristan loves to share that passion and enthusiasm with his clients and his easygoing nature allows for a fun and enjoyable experience.
