Franica is a much renovated and updated classic Hinkley Bermuda 40. This 1961 Hinckley has a vast history, she has cruised the world as far as the South Pacific. Owner has bought this vessel to cruise the Adriatic but due to Covid and security issues in Europe he has decided to sell the boat now and work on another at a later date. Owner has all the documentation on the refits he has done and new items he has added.

Recent History

This 1961 Hinckley Bermuda 40 has recently undergone full refit and updates including new Raymarine Electronics to include Radar, GPS, wind, depth and speed displays. New Side-Power 8.5 hp bow thruster w/remote installed in 5/2021. At the same time bottom was soda blasted, barrier coated and painted. At the same time hull and topsides alwgrip painted and all teak fully restored. All new custom cushions, inside and out, with new canvas sprayhood and top done in 2022. Newer diesel engine with only 350 hrs. fully serviced and in excellent running condition. Full complement of sails with a large amount of spares. Fully equipped with all gear including safety and regulatory equipment, sailing lines, winches 2 anchors with windless control both locally and remotely.

Two dinghys one with engine and one with sail., solar panel, 2 inverters, fridge, stove and galley equipment Epirb, life raft and more. Standing rigging has been replaced with new Dyneema rigging as well. Vessel has been well cared for and maintained by a professional maritime deep-sea Captain with decades of experience. This classic Bermuda has to be seen to be appreciated.
