Chris was born and raised in the vibrant maritime hub of Miami, Florida. His journey with boats began at the age of 8. Starting out in a humble aluminum boat with a Minn Kota trolling motor powered by two car batteries, he chased peacock bass, largemouth bass, tarpon, and snook around the airport lakes of Miami.
At 15, while attending Miami Coral Park Senior High, Chris seized his first job on the water as the second mate aboard the “Reward,” a local head boat out of Miami Beach Marina. Working for cash tips and snapper fish at night laid the foundation for his deep connection with the sea.
His maritime adventures led Chris to join the yachting world. Working as a deck hand, mate, and eventually captain, on beautiful yachts ranging from 40-250 feet. He pursued further education at the Maritime Professional Training Academy, earning his 100-ton Master Captain license.
After running his own fishing guide charters, the impact of Hurricane Ian redirected his focus. Since then, he’s owned and managed Pineapple Yacht Management, splitting his time between this venture and selling yachts with Curtis Stokes and Associates. Alongside his fiancée, Gisselle and their dog daughter Nala, they form a happy nautical family, enjoying moments on their Carolina Skiff or fishing adventures on their Contender.
