Greg grew up outside Birmingham Alabama and spent his summers fishing and boating on the Coosa River. After graduation Greg enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and finished top of his class. He was stationed on a cutter at Trumbo Point at Naval Station Key West and spent his Coast Guard career exclusively in Florida as a small boat Coxswain and Boatswains Mate. This was his beginning of a love of the ocean, boating and sailing. While stationed in Key West Greg purchased a Hunter 25 and sailed around the keys between deployments.

After his enlistment Greg started a career in restaurant management leading to opening his own restaurant. After a successful run, Greg sold the restaurant and moved into construction project management while starting a family and having two amazing kids. The next 18 years were filled with coaching baseball and softball, traveling to cheer competitions with his daughter Abbie and showcase travel baseball with his son Austin.

After both kids had started college, Greg moved to Perdido Key, Fl in 2017, bought and moved on a 40’ custom built French sailboat with his wife Aspen and began living their dream as full time live-aboards. In 2022 Greg and Aspen moved to their 36’ Albin Trawler with anticipation of navigating the Great Loop in 2025 or 2026.

Greg is passionate about sailing, cruising and everything boating. Greg loves challenging himself by studying and taking on new boat projects for himself and his marina family. A perfect weekend is traveling along the ICW or on the hook grilling fish and playing with Kona, their 3 year old Border Aussie and their two boat cats Spud and Covi.

Greg now works with Curtis Stokes and Associates and is committed to bringing sellers and buyers together to enrich the boating and cruising lifestyle.
