Kendyl Taylor was born and raised in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, where she proudly represents the sixth generation of her family’s maritime legacy. From her earliest days, she was immersed with nautical tradition, spending sun-drenched hours offshore with her grandfather and father, absorbing their timeless wisdom about boats and the boundless ocean. These experiences ignited her lifelong passion for fishing and will forever keep her navigating the ocean.

Kendyl took a break from the water to attend college at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Physiology with minors in Chemistry and Human Factors. Throughout her collegiate journey, she balanced academic pursuits with four-years of collegiate Volleyball, demonstrating leadership as team captain. After graduating, she decided to pursue a career that will keep her around the water. She joyfully decided to join Curtis Stokes & Associates in February 2024.

Kendyl’s Yachting/Boating career includes fishing down the East Coast of Florida to the Florida Keys and in Hawaii on a vast variety of center consoles and sport fishers. She is excited to turn her passion into a professional career.

Currently, under the mentorship of Curtis Stokes, Kendyl is eager to ascend to new heights as she delves into the realm of yacht brokerage, entrusted with covering the middle-East Coast territory of Florida for the firm.
