Lin Earley was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. At age 12 while fishing the tidal waters of Elizabeth River in a 14 ft. skiff, he fell in love with boating. A graduate of Virginia Tech, Lin’s first career was in finance and banking. His last position was regional president for Bank of America in the Hampton Roads Virginia market. Upon retirement from banking Lin managed a public, Venture Capital Company.

Lin and his wife Susan live in Virginia Beach and currently own a 42 ft. Treworgy Yachts steel trawler they enjoy cruising the Chesapeake Bay and ICW, having logged over 12,000 miles.
