Description

Popular centre-cockpit sailing cruiser designed by Warren Luhrs and built by Hunter

STO-LAT is easy to get onto from either side by using the gates in the guard rails. Also, the big sugar-scoop stern is a top choice for getting on board when tied stern to or to access a dinghy. There's loads of room to sit in the big center cockpit.

Descend a curved stairway to the main cabin. STO-LAT’s inside layout is open and spacious like even larger craft. With 6’ 6” of headroom and lots of windows and hatches that open, it's really inviting. To the left of the stairway is the well appointed U-shaped galley. It's great for living on board or long trips. In front of the galley, there's nice built-in blue plush settee. On the starboard side, opposite the galley, is the well-set-up navigation area. Forward of that is a large U-shaped dining area with an upholstered bench. Aft is the master stateroom (queen) with lots of space, including an en-suite with a shower and tub combo. Forward of the saloon area is the guest double which is also en-suite.

  • Two staterooms with en suites
  • 2 great work areas for remote workers - desks at navigation station and in Aft stateroom
  • Galley and comfy seating along the left side
  • Navigation area and dining area along the right side
  • Saloon table converts into a double bed
  • Aft stateroom has a shower and tub seperate from en-suite head

Accomodations

The Hunter Passage 450 was designed, engineered and built to provide owners with the ultimate in comfort and live-aboard-ability. The spacious saloon is both well ventilated and well-lit with its many ports and hatches. Dining, entertaining, or just relaxing is all easily accomplished aboard the Passage 450.

You descend into the main salon by an elegant curved ladder way. The main salon is light and spacious with almost 7' headroom. A convertible dinette table also has a ottoman for additional seating at the table. To port there is a settee with a fold down center table with wine rack behind it. To starbord there is the expansive navigation area. Engine access is below the companionway curved ladder.

Moving aft from the saloon, the mid cabin head is positioned in starboard passageway to maintain access from the saloon and cockpit areas as well as private access from Master cabin. Corian counters, plentiful storage, and an easy-to-clean finish makes the head practical and good-looking. The owner's suite offers superb accommodations in an expansive area. A real queen-size bed adorns the master berth while a large amount of hanging lockers and shelving provide great storage. A large desk area in the aft cabin is a workspace in addition to the main salon navigation table.  The combination shower/bathtub lie behind the glass shower door on port side seperate from the head.

The Hunter Passage 450 also has a forward guest stateroom with a double berth and a full set of 6 drawers and hanging locker space with twin door storage cupboard forward, plus a private head (foot operated) with shower.

Galley

The fully equipped galley has Corian-fiddled counters and a dual opening, large (top and front) refrigerator for quick and easy access. Additional removable shelves fitted to fridge. A deep 'well' Freezer, - top-opening is fitted outboard. Twin stainless sinks with a cutting board, a gimbaled range and oven, with grill (in oven), plus a microwave will thrill any chef. Secure storage and non-slip flooring makes cooking in a seaway safe and easy! Built in waist bin and storage for the included plates and glassware. There is an additional ice tub for beverages below the open curved stairs for entertaining.
