1982 Whitby Yachts
42' (12.80m) -
Toberua has been in the same family since new. The Whitby 42 is one of the true blue water cruisers for the serious sailor. She spent her early years cruising the Virgin Islands but since1987 has been Great Lakes cruised with the exception of 2 winter trips in the Bahamas. She has undergone 2 re-fits. The first was mostly mechanical with the installation of a new Perkins 4-236 in 1998 & the second was a cosmetic overhaul in the early 2000's. Professionally compounded & buffed topsides & quality varnish work below. Lately, new Lewmar Offshore deck hatches were installed. . The bottom has been barrier coated.
