At first glance, she is clearly a Sun Odyssey. Moreover, the Sun Odyssey 439 reflects the design trend that started with the Sun Odyssey 409. Dynamic lines, a hard chine on the hull, lots of hatches and windows along with beveled edges on the deck combine to form a powerful and straight forward design from the pen of Philippe Briand. But her natural beauty is more than skin deep. A closer look reveals an innovative deck plan that makes sailing easy. A Jeanneau is first, and foremost, for sailing. Three main concepts shape the Sun Odyssey 439: a fast, seaworthy sailboat, simple to use deck and sail plans and a high-quality interior.

ACCOMODATIONS

• Layout: The two cabin Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 439 has a very spacious layout with a centerline queen size berth in the forward cabin as well as a large dresser with hanging lockers, a desktop and more. The private forward head compartment is a large air conditioned wet head with an electric Jabsco commode. Next aft is the salon with a large folding table (it also lowers to make an extra berth) to starboard with a straight settee opposite. Indirect floor lighting added to the salon. The forward facing nav station is to port opposite the galley. The galley has a two burner stove with oven and a large top and front loading refrigerator with a freezer inside. Further aft to starboard is the aft cabin with ample standing room, a very large double berth, lockers for storage, and an opening port. The aft head is to port with an AC vent, electric Jabsco head, and an opening port and hatch. The generator, spinnaker and lots of storage occupy the port side aft of the head compartment.
