Description
The Bruckmann Abaco 40 is a gorgeous Downeast Express design penned by Mark Ellis and built by Bruckmann Yachts in Canada. Equipped with a single 670hp Cummins diesel and progressive bow and stern thrusters, the Abaco 40 cruises efficiently in the low-20 knot range and effortless to maneuver in tight marinas. Her Herreshoff style interior with mahogany furniture and accents is beautiful and bright with a galley open to the salon.
Daybreak is well-equipped and well-maintained with short seasonal use in New England and she has always been winter-stored in indoor heated storage at a full-service boatyard in Harpswell Maine. She comfortably accommodates two in the forward cabin, plus an additional two overnight guests on the pilothouse dinette that converts to a queen-sized berth. A large head with separate shower stall and generous galley round out the interior.
Abaco 40s are known for their elegant finish and solid construction. She has a Mark Ellis easy planing hull which rides comfortably at any speed. Bruckmann Yachts has been building quality boats for 50 years. The Abaco is a seakindly design with simplicity of operation and maintenance.
