Walkthrough:
Starting at water’s edge, on the swim platform is a hot/cold shower, removeable stanchions, a portable ladder for water entry/exit and a door to the crew area and engine room. Curved stairs on each side lead up to the aft deck where the main outside dining table with settee and dining chairs are located. A cabinet with sink and granite top is to starboard above which a TV hinges down from the ceiling. Fresh water washdown is also on this deck. A door starboard leads down to the crew quarters and engine room. Steps to port lead up to the wheelhouse/skylounge deck.
Sliding glass doors open to a large salon/dining area. Directly inside to starboard is an inviting curved, granite-topped bar with ice-maker, fridge and sink as well as storage. Comfortable chairs make this area a favorite not only for drinks and appetizers, but also for watching TV and using a laptop. To port is a lounge area including a leather couch with storage and matching hassocks. Forward is a varnished oval table for dining with surrounding custom dining chairs. One cabinet forward reveals the temperature-controlled wine cellar; two other lighted glass cabinets display art.
Two steps up from the dining area is the U-shaped galley with essentially new appliances (See Galley List) and granite counter tops. Beyond the galley is a large dinette and settee, used for visiting with the cook, informal eating or watching the news on the wall-mounted TV. Doors from each side open to the side deck. Across from the galley is a SubZero refrigerator/freezer and stairs which curve up to the enclosed pilothouse/skylounge.
The wheelhouse/skylounge forward is taken up with the bridge and piloting functions. (See Navigation/Communications List). Two helm chairs and a well-organized up-to-date instrument console cross from one side to the other. Behind this, to port, is a raised observation settee with a small raised table. Farther aft is a large, U shaped, full wet bar with sink, fridge and icemaker and plenty of storage. On the other side is a lounge area with settee and cocktail table. The television is on a lift near the bar. A fun feature: the aft window at the bar descends electrically, making the bar directly open to the aft deck.
The aft skylounge deck has a table with settee and an electric barbeque grill, stairs to the main deck, a crane and storage for the tender.
Back to the main deck dining area, a starboard hallway leads forward past a lovely day head inboard, then stairs lead down to a foyer and owner/guest staterooms. One foyer locker conveniently houses a washer and dryer, while another stores supplies.
Aft is the full-width master stateroom with centerline queen bed, a night stand on each side. A long bureau with 12 drawers is on each side of the room. His and her cedar-lined closets are separated by a wall-hung television. His and her bathrooms, each with their own entry, are joined together by a luxurious, large shower with built in seat. The luxuriously appointed bathrooms boast medicine cabinets; subtle, light onyx countertops; and are mirrored for an extra sense of space.
Continuing forward to guest staterooms, to port is a centerline queen-bed stateroom with a hanging locker and cabinets for storage as well as an ensuite bathroom with a tub. The next room is configured with two single beds, over/under in an L shape. A hanging locker and cabinets as well as ensuite bathroom complete this room. The fourth stateroom is forward with centerline queen, two hanging lockers, drawers and cabinets plus ensuite bath. All baths have countertops of either onyx or marble.
In the bow area, a double sun pad for sunning and lounging is perched on the coach roof. A windlass, anchor, hatch access to chain locker and a locker for the electrical cable connection to shore power are found here.
Crew area and engine room are accessed by the stairs on the aft deck or through the door on the swim platform. Descending stairs from the aft deck is the crew/engine room foyer with a full-size refrigerator/freezer and entry to the engine room forward (See Mechanical List). From the foyer aft is a captain’s cabin with centerline queen bed, hanging locker and drawers. A second cabin has over/under bunks with storage. A head is shared. This entire area was originally custom constructed. The current owner refit it with new walls, ceilings, floors, and bedding. A new washer to complement the dryer was added as well as an extra hanging locker.

REMARKS
La Mer has been well cared for all her life by her three owners. She has had various upgrades to enhance her already well-functioning, appealing quality. She offers the coveted sunken bar in the main salon and enclosed pilothouse/skylounge also with a large entertainment bar; both near to serve the aft decks. Four staterooms for the owner and guests are well separated from crew in an aft custom designed area.
Natural stone throughout—onyx, marble and granite—as well as custom, upscale upholstery, create an ambience beyond the norm. All new galley appliances, LED lights and electronics keep La Mer up to date. Mechanically La Mer is in excellent condition. In October 2020 she was hauled for her annual bottom work and professional service on the engines and generators was completed. Cruise now…La Mer is ready to transport you to your dream anchorage or marina.
The Owner’s View:
The owners of La Mer love their boat—how spacious, versatile, and “smooth” she is from underway to at the dock. The master stateroom is large and well-appointed with his and her bathrooms and his and her closets. The galley layout is perfect for entertaining with good appliances and plenty of counter space; the “country kitchen” set up provides a unifying hub for family and friends interacting with activity in the galley. A nice ambiance throughout La Mer is enhanced with mood lighting and a rich variety of self-contained spaces, including outdoors, that cater to various group interests and activities going on at the same time. The owners are so pleased to offer family and guests the novel, fun cruising experience of being together on La Mer.
