Overview

SOVEREIGN is a fantastic yacht that was built to rival the quality and capability of the Northern European pedigree shipyards. She was built by an experienced yachtsman who made sure the build included every opportunity to be successful by providing the finest supervision, engineering, designer, time and quality available. Time of build was of no concern and quality was the number one priority. The owner spared no cost in getting the vessel perfect before putting her in operation.

Her second and present owner has been the perfect custodian offering SOVEREIGN the “state of the art” upgrades, annual surveys both maintenance and class, providing the vessel with whatever was needed. A list of the upgrades are found further in the listing spec.

Fuel Service System

Bulkhead mounted fuel tank to gravity feed fuel to all machinery. Fuel is transferred from large aft tanks (with the added crossover valves opened, this equates to one large tank, accounting for half of the total capacity) to the gravity tank by the Alfa Laval (fuel purifier). The gravity tank overflows back to the large aft tanks, thus constantly keeping the gravity tank full to supply fuel to all machinery. This constant fuel exchange between tanks through the Alfa Laval makes the fuel very pure and clean. The Alfa Laval has a sump pump and tank which operates automatically to collect all sludge. There are another two (2) back up fuel pumps piped for the same purpose. The emergency generator, located on the sun deck, is also piped to the pumps and the Alfa Laval.

Broker Comments

SOVEREIGN is an extraordinary yacht that was built to rival the quality and capability of the Northern European pedigree shipyards. She was built by an experienced yachtsman who made sure the build included every opportunity to be successful by providing the finest supervision, engineering, design, time and quality material available. A listing of the upgrades is found further in the listing spec.

SOVEREIGN offers six large staterooms with two true masters. She offers volume not seen on a 55m with additional attributes to include 1,100 GRT, elevator, beach club, high ceilings, huge exterior deck space, four fin Quantum zero stabilization and much much more. A must see. You will not be disappointed.
