RIVENDELL is a rare 1990 Nauset 36 Flybridge Downeast Cruiser. She offers a single Caterpillar 3208 375hp main diesel engine and has plenty of power to reach a top speed of 13 knots and cruises efficiently at 9 knots. Clean oil samples are available. She features a Westerbeke 5K generator, reverso oil changing system, and a 10ft Avon dinghy with a 3.5 Nissan outboard engine. Simple in design and function, this Downeast cruiser is well equipped for long distance cruising and would make a good candidate for the Great Loop. RIVENDELL is currently stored on the hard for the winter and is accessible for personal inspection, the boat is set to be put back in the water at the beginning of April.

36 Nauset Vessel Walkthrough

Starting aft in the covered cockpit, you can access the salon via the starboard side door. In the salon you have a large L- shaped settee to port, starboard aft you have a foldable table that could be used for dining or a desk. Moving forward you will find a lower helm station to starboard with a forward facing bench seat. Port forward is the galley, Starboard forward you will find the head, which features a large separate stand up shower. All the way forward is the V-berth and offers a great amount of storage.

36 Nauset Accommodations

RIVENDELL offers one stateroom forward with a large v-berth.

36 Nauset Salon

The salon offers a L-shaped settee to port, folding table to starboard that could be used for dining or a desk. Sliding windows with screen inserts and curtains. Starboard forward is the lower helm station.

The galley is located port forward and features the following:

36 Nauset Sateroom

RIVENDELL offers one stateroom forward with a large v-berth with plenty of storage, cedar drawers, and easy access to the head located starboard aft of the stateroom across from the galley.

The lower helm is starboard forward in the salon and offers great visibility, a full array of electronics as listed in the electronics section of this brochure, and engine controls. The switchboard panel is easy to access and is located at the lower helm.

36 Nauset Flybridge

The flybridge offers a bimini, large non-skid deck, upper helm station with electronics as listed in the electronics section of this brochure, three Garelick helm chairs, stainless steel rails, and access to the boom lift to launch the tender.

RIVENDELLS cockpit features a hard top that extends to the transom, teak decks, plenty of storage, a fresh water wash down, salon access via the starboard door, and a stainless steel & teak ladder to access the flybridge.
