The Morgan 46, 461, 462 & 463: The first 12 boats off the line were designated as MOORINGS 46, then the next 35 were MORGAN 461. There are 114 MORGAN 462 built and one MORGAN 463. The 462 had 3,000 lbs less displacement (as well as some other design changes). The sloop rig was standard and the ketch rig was optional. The standard draft was 6’ and the optional shoal was 5’3”.
