Fletcher C. Bauman was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of MD in Easton, and grew up in Royal Oak, and St. Michaels MD. Fletcher has over 48 years of racing experience, 1973 to present. His experience on the Chesapeake Bay includes racing and cruising on his family’s Islander 36 as tactician and helmsperson. His family relocated to the USVI in 1984, where Fletcher logged many miles of blue water cruising and racing on his family’s Wellington 52’, Calinda. His extensive Chesapeake Bay racing includes the J22 World Championship, 10 th place in 1994 as crew, and in 2004, 5th place in the Silver Fleet as helmsperson.
Fletcher currently resides in Annapolis MD, where he can be found on the race course in the Farr 30, J 105, and Beneteau First 40.7 classes as well as deliveries from the Caribbean and West Indies to the Chesapeake Bay.
Fletcher enjoys a vibrant and successful career in Real Estate for the past 21 years servicing both sides of the Chesapeake Bay for Residential, Commercial, Land, Estates and Waterfronts. Fletcher enjoys providing his clients with the expertise they expect and deserve.
