Vessel Walk Through

As you board “Teddy's Kite”, the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 379, from her wide-open transom “Draw Bridge” you immediately gain a sense of how large her cockpit is. Her twin steering wheels allow for easy access as you move forward. The large cockpit table with foldable sides and insulated bottle storage make for an ideal socializing or dining area.

All necessary sail controls are led aft beneath the combings to the primary winches just in from of the helm stations making single-handed sailing a breeze.

With inboard shrouds and chain plates, the Sun Odyssey 379 has wide side decks that make traversing up to the bow area much easier than other boats.

Salon

As you come down her gradual companionway into the main salon, you are met with the sense of warmth from her rich wood finishes that are bathed in tons of natural light from the deck hatches, hull, and cabin top windows.

Her upgraded white PVC upholstery not only holds up well, but also helps to add to the sense of space with the lighter colors that are the perfect compliment to the rich wood colors.

The large U-shaped seating area to starboard along with the matching settee to port allow for ample room for below deck gatherings or meals. Her deluxe wood table converts the starboard settee into a large double berth for addition sleeping accommodations when needed.

To port you see the large Nav-Station complete with, VHF, and Fusion Stereo and 12v switch panel.

Throughout the salon, you will find almost every space is cleverly utilized for storage with large cabinets that surround both port and starboard side.

Galley

The starboard side aft reveals the “L-Shaped” galley area with large Corian counter tops and ample storage underneath. She has a huge stainless under counter mounted double basin sink. There is a large gas range for cooking as well as a microwave above. The storage theme continues into the galley with lots of cabinets for dishes and food storage. Her large top loading 12v refrigeration is improved with the side access door that makes getting to the lower items easier. 

Master Cabin

As you proceed forward into the ‘Owner’s Stateroom, you’ll be surprised by the size of the accommodation provided. The cabin feels like a cabin from a much larger boat. There is plenty of storage throughout as well as a large hanging locker. The light provided by the opening deck hatches and hull windows allows for lots of natural light.

Aft Guest Cabin

To starboard, aft of the galley is the large guest cabin. Because of the layout of the 2 cabin version, this berth occupies 2/3 of the wide beam providing for a much larger berth. This cabin also has ample storage and hanging locker. The aft can also has lots of natural light from the same hull windows and opening cockpit port. 

Head

“Teddy's Kite” has the larger head compartment with a large shower.
