Designed by Philippe Briand, the Sun Odyssey 469 is a big boat inside and out. The 469 benefits from the latest innovations and inherits the finest traits of this iconic line. The sister ship of the popular Sun Odyssey 509, the 469 is built with sleek lines, a hard chine running aft to give added stability and performance, and a low center of gravity.

It’s an amazing boat to sail – fast, stiff & comfortable. Her hard hull chine means less healing and more turn of speed under sail. With her roller furling sails, electric winches, bow thruster and autopilot, she is setup for easy short- or single-handed performance cruising. Briand truly achieved the perfect blend of performance, comfort, and ease of handling in the Sun Odyssey 469.

The cockpit is huge and can comfortably seat a family. Twin helm stations provide comfortable seating on either tack. Wide side decks make moving about on deck comfortable and safe. The drop-down transom swim platform provides easy access into a dinghy or for fun in the water.

The spacious interior has loads of natural light and offers volume and comfort comparable to a 50-foot sailboat. The owner's berth has an island bed surrounded by shelves and cupboard space and an ensuite head. Everywhere you look, the build quality and trim is well executed and attractive.

AZZURRA is a single-owner boat that has been lightly used, professionally maintained and lovingly cared for. She has never been off the Chesapeake Bay, so she has been kept in brackish water since new. She is the 3 cabin, 2 head layout, with a shoal keel. She includes many factory options including generator, electric halyard and primary winches, Raymarine electronics including dual chart plotters, and much more.

Whatever your destination, AZZURRA will deliver years of enjoyment, fun and unforgettable cruising. Call today and schedule a showing before she disappears!

ACCOMMODATIONS

Master stateroom: The master stateroom is truly luxurious and is highlighted by the walkaround centerline queen size bed. A pair of reading lights are at the head of the bed. There is a step-up on either side of the berth and two deep drawers beneath it. Counters run the length of the berth on either side; overhead, four drop-front lockers line the hullsides, providing a tremendous amount of storage.

On port, there is a locker beneath the counter and a hanging locker above it. Entry to the ensuite head is just aft of that.

On starboard, there is a locker beneath the bedside counter. Just aft of that is a dressing area, with a leather-topped vanity and dressing stool. A flexible armed reading light is by the vanity. Aft of that is are double doored lockers with shelves below and a large hanging locker above. Across from that hanging locker is a full-length dressing mirror and a leather wrapped stainless steel grab bar.

Lighting and ventilation are well done, with two hullside lights with sliding shades, two overhead hatches with shade/screens and vents, four overhead LED lights and three reading lights. Headroom in here is 6’4”.

Forward head: The forward head is ensuite on port in the master stateroom. Headroom in here is 6’4”. As you enter you will find the separate shower stall straight ahead. There are folding acrylic panels to enclose the shower space when in use. To the right of the shower is the sink area, with a one-piece molded sink and countertop. There are two lockers beneath the sink and a large mirror above. To the right and along the hull are two more lockers with shelves. The head is below that. Lighting and ventilation are provided by one opening hatch and three overhead LED lights.

Salon: The living space throughout the Sun Odyssey 469 is fantastic, bright, and quite spacious. Contributing to that feel, the 6’5” headroom is a good start! There are four hullside windows, two fixed housetop windows, four overhead hatches, seven overhead LED lights and one reading light, so there is plenty of light and ventilation.

On starboard, there are two club chairs with armrests and a leather inset nav station lid between them. The aft chair has storage beneath and behind it, while systems are below the forward seat. Three locker doors line the hull above the seats, with the center concealing the electrical panel. There is a cubby/niche with the VHF and other electrical monitoring equipment in it below the center door and outboard of the nav top.

Across on port, the C-shaped dinette seating has a unique folding dinette table with a black leather inset in the center. Closed for café style or open for full dining with friends, it’s a breeze to do.

There is storage beneath and behind the seating, with a shelf along the hull and behind the back cushions; above that are two hullside lights that give a view of the waters while you relax or dine.

Galley: The galley is located on starboard at the base of the companionway. L-shaped, the counter space is generous and great for food prep. The deep double stainless-steel sinks are oriented toward centerline, while Corian sink inserts convert the entire sink area to counter space when you want it. Beneath the sink is a small, drop-front door storage space for sponges and such. Beneath that are a pull-out trash drawer and a pull-out storage locker drawer.

Moving around and along the hullside, there is a top loading freezer and a top and front-loading refrigerator. Aft of that is the gimballed three-burner stove and oven. Above the counter and stove and along the hullside, there are five large lockers and a microwave oven. Headroom here is 6’4”. There are five LED overhead lights, an opening port and one fixed housetop light to keep the space well lit.

Aft head: The aft head is on port at the base of the companionway. Headroom is 6’2”. As you enter, the head is to your left and has a mirror above it. Straight ahead is the sink area, with a one-piece molded sink and countertop. To the left of the sink is a top-loading hamper. There are two lockers with shelves above the sink and one beneath it. To the right is the separate shower stall, with folding acrylic panels to enclose the shower space when in use. There is a teak seat and a pull-out shower wand, which hangs on an adjustable height mounting bar. Lighting and ventilation are provided by one fixed light, one opening port and three overhead LED lights.

Aft staterooms: Each aft cabin has an 80” x 58” berth, with a fiddled shelf on centerline and along the hullside. A hanging locker is in each cabin and has a shelf above it. Lighting and ventilation are from a fixed hullside light, two opening ports, one overhead hatch, a fan, one reading light and two LED ceiling lights. Headroom in here is 6’5”.
