MAIN DESCRIPTION

2008 MAINSHIP PILOT 34 COCKPIT

The roomy cockpit on 2nd Chance is very versatile. The cockpit is accessible through the transom door from the swim platform, or over the gunwales. A hot/cold cockpit shower, a fresh water connection, fishing rod holders, port and starboard stainless steel safety grab rails, and lazerette access hatches are all located in the cockpit. There is ample space for deck chairs.

2008 MAINSHIP PILOT 34 DECK

The foredeck of the Mainship Pilot 34 is accessible via sidewalks from the cockpit. The deck on 2nd Chance features: an anchor locker, a custom stainless steel bow rail, cleats for bow, stern & spring lines, a swim platform with ladder, a fiberglass anchor pulpit with roller, a windlass with deck and helm controls, an anchor with chain & line rode, and cockpit & bridge deck courtesy lights.

2008 MAINSHIP PILOT 34 BRIDGE

The fully enclosed pilothouse with hardtop on 2nd Chance is well designed for the Captain and guests. The hard side windows open for ventilation, and have sun-shade covers. The aft camper canvas with isinglass windows rolls-up for stowage, and has sun-shade covers for privacy and protection from the sun. The well-appointed helm station is to starboard with a Captain's bench chair with adjustable foot rest. A second navigation bench chair is to port, also with an adjustable foot rest, overlooking the plexiglass chart station.

A stereo system is located under the starboard chair. Space for a freezer/ice maker is located under the port chair.

There are two chaise loungers/benches aft of the chairs which can be used for guest seating, or extra guest berths. Both loungers have storage under the cushions. An integrated cooler/storage box is located to port, aft of the lounger. Removable cushions form a back rest for the lounger and hide a storage area that also extends the length of the lounger when used as a berth.

There are opening hatches with screens, as well as a ventilating front windshield with windshield wipers. A center-line sliding door provides access to the cabin space below.

The floor between the loungers opens for access to the engine room.

2008 MAINSHIP PILOT 34 SALON

Stepping down from the enclosed pilothouse, the salon on 2nd Chance features: 6'4" headroom, a cherry interior, Everware teak and holly flooring, a U shaped neutral colored leatherette upholstered dinette which converts to a double berth, opening hatches with screens, 6 opening portlights with screens, a flat screen TV, access to the forward stateroom, access to the head to port, and an efficiently designed galley to port. The Mainship Pilot 34 has integrated storage in the steps, the floor of the galley beneath the dinette, as well as built-in shelves.

2008 MAINSHIP PILOT 34 GALLEY

The galley on 2nd Chance is to port in the salon, and features: a 2 burner electric range, a microwave oven, a neutral Corian countertop, a refrigerator/freezer (replaced January 2020), an in-counter wine/bottle locker, cherry cabinetry, dish and glass storage, and a stainless steel sink and faucet.

2008 MAINSHIP PILOT 34 STATEROOM

The v-berth stateroom on 2nd Chance has a double berth that converts to a comfortable full berth with a filler cushion. There are cedar-lined hanging lockers, storage cabinets, high intensity reading lights, an opening hatch with screen, and under-berth storage. The stateroom closes off from the salon with a cherry door for complete privacy.

2008 MAINSHIP PILOT 34 HEAD

The single molded fiberglass head is located off the salon to port on 2nd Chance. It includes: a vanity with Corian countertop, an electric flush head with holding tank and a waste tank monitor, a hot/cold shower with a sump pump, a mirror, and a power ventilator.
