Description
Happy Ours is a 2000 Carver 530 Voyager Pilothouse, built in Pulaski, WI. When the Carver 530 Voyager line was introduced in 1998 it quickly became the flagship of the Carver fleet. Carver said at the time it invested 60,000 hours in the design of this luxury cruiser, and it was considered to be time well spent! The 530 Voyager Pilothouse retains Carver's trademark efficient use of interior space, while adding some European mega-yacht styling. This was all reflected in the $1M+ price-tag when the Carver 530 Voyager Pilothouse was introduced.
The current owners of Happy Ours purchased her in 2019 and kept her in Texas until February of 2021 when they brought her to the Atlantic coast of Florida where she has made a comfortable live-aboard. While her Cummins engines can cruise efficiently at about 18-20 knots, the owners usually cruise at 8- 9.5 knots at 1350-1400 RPM. They would now be happy to make Happy Ours yours.

2000 CARVER 530 VOYAGER WALK THROUGH
You can board Happy Ours through the transom door via the swim platform, or over the gunwales with multi-level molded steps. The salon is accessible via the heavy-duty stainless steel sliding door. The galley is to port on the same level as the spacious salon. The steps to starboard lead up to the pilothouse/upper salon. A curved companionway to starboard leads down to the stateroom level, featuring an ensuite master stateroom aft, an ensuite VIP guest stateroom forward, and an over/under bunk stateroom to port. The guest head is also accessible from the companionway.
The fully enclosed flybridge can be accessed from the wide stairs in the pilothouse/upper salon or the cockpit ladder. The foredeck is accessible from the starboard side pilothouse door or via the exterior sidewalks from the cockpit.
2000 Carver 530 Voyager Accommodations
SALON
The salon on Happy Ours s entered directly from the cockpit. The tinted-glass stainless steel door has a built-in sliding screen, as well as decorator privacy drapes. The sole is easy-to-maintain composite wood planking. The large salon windows can let in plenty of natural light, or the wood blinds can be closed to keep out the sun or for privacy. There are also exterior sunshades on the salon windows.
Immediately to port the salon on Happy Ours features a Samsung "smart" TV (03/2020) on a swing arm mounted in front of a cabinet with a neutral colored Avonite cabinet top. The Webasto reverse cycle AC/heat control is to port; a new AC unit was installed in the salon (08/2021).
The butter cream colored L-shaped salon settee with two incline seats is to starboard. The top on the black coffee table raises and pulls forward to provide a dining space at the settee. There is storage under the top as well as open storage beneath. The built-in end table at the end of the settee forward has a neutral colored Avonite countertop, and two open storage shelves.
The entertainment system is forward and features: a Harmon Kardon stereo receiver, a Harmon Kardon 5-disc CD player, and a Kenwood 6-disc CD player. There is also a double door cabinet with a shelf under the stereo system. The 12V electrical panel is outside of the steps leading to the pilothouse/upper salon; the 110V electrical panel is inside of the steps.
All interior cabinetry is cherry wood. All of the interior lights have been replaced with LED lighting. There are four stereo speakers in the salon area.
GALLEY
The galley on Happy Ours is to port open to the salon. There is a large neutral colored Avonite counter with two wood and black leather bar-height seats. Two open shelves at the end of the counter provide additional storage. The galley appliances include: two Summit refrigerator drawers, two Summit freezer drawers, a Princess electric 3-burner stove and oven with overhead light and vent, a GE Compactall trash compactor, a Black & Decker SpaceMaker coffee maker, and a Magic Chef microwave oven (07/2020). The galley has double enamel sinks with a pull-out faucet; one of the sinks has an Avonite cover. There are two electrical outlets in the galley for small appliances.
Galley storage includes: a pot drawer under the oven, deep under-sink storage with a handy light, a four-door cabinet over the refrigerator/freezer drawers with a shelf, two drawers and a cabinet in the counter. There are two very handy towel rings mounted on the inside of the cabinet under the sink. A central vacuum system hook-up is also in the cabinet under the sink.
PILOTHOUSE/UPPER SALON
The Carver 530 Voyager Pilothouse has a lower helm station in the upper salon. The area provides comfortable seating for guests while underway, and a large interior entertaining space while docked or moored. There is very good visibility with the large windows, which are all covered with sunscreens on the outside.
The butter cream colored settee to port can seat five or six people comfortably. A free-standing brass and marble occasional table is in front of the settee; there are four handy Avonlite drink holders behind the settee. Other pilothouse features include: six LED surface mounted lights, a brass light fixture mounted on the ceiling, two Bose stereo speakers, a smoke detector (11/2020), electrical outlets, and a MarinAire reverse cycle AC/heat control.

The autohelm joystick is on the right arm of the chair; the owners report they have never used it and do not know if it is operational. There is a full complement of engine controls and electronics at the lower helm station.
There are six open steps which lead to the flybridge. The flybridge hatch allows light in but is frosted for privacy.
COMPANIONWAY
The staterooms are accessed on Happy Ours by six lighted curved steps to starboard with stainless steel hand grips. The smoke detector for the staterooms is in the ceiling of the companionway.

The berth has reading lights and electrical outlets on either side, and two lights over the berth. The sole is carpeted.
There is a five-draw dresser with a neutral colored Avonite top and two LED lights to the left as you enter the master stateroom.
