Description
Eleanor Grace is an outstanding example of the Chris-Craft Constellation 500 flush-deck motor-yacht. Chris-Craft has been building boats since 1874. The first Constellations were built of wood in the 1950's. In the 1980's Dale Murray took over Chris-Craft and began the shift to fiberglass. The Constellations were then built in Swansboro North Carolina and the model remained the Flagship of the Chris-Craft line. Eleanor Grace is outstanding for her condition from her highly polished exterior to her warm contemporary and updated interior. She has three staterooms, one guest cabin with en-suite head forward, a convertible office/guest cabin midships and a lavish full width aft cabin. There is a salon with wet bar aft of the deck-level pilot house and a more formal salon below decks. There is dining area forward to port and the galley is down to starboard. Five reverse cycle air-conditioners service the interior. The bulkheads, cabinets and furnishings are satin finished teak, in very good condition. Eleanor Grace has a large canvas enclosed fly-bridge with full controls and instruments and seating for 8+. There is additional seating on the aft sundeck with sun-shade and patio furniture. Spacious decks, including a narrow but functional cockpit aft of the pilothouse, make handling dock-lines easy. The engine room on Eleanor Grace, accessed by a hatch with a ladder in the main salon, is clean and large enough to get around to all the machinery. Please see additional information below for the full specs and details on all of the amenities and equipment. Eleanor Grace is available to see by appointment in New Bern North Carolina.

Eleanor Grace Hull, Decks and Tender
Eleanor Grace was built in Swansboro North Carolina. The Hull is hand-laid gelcoat and solid fiberglass. The hull was painted many years ago and still looks great. All of the exterior is kept polished to a high shine. The low deadrise aids in planning for top speeds around 24-25 kts, while the fairly deep modified V bow provides comfortable cruising in rough water. The bottom has been barrier coated and had new anti-fouling paint done in May of 2021. The props were purchased from Michigan Wheel in 2019. Her flush deck design puts the fore and side decks, pilothouse/salon and aft cockpit all on one level. The fore deck is large enough to easily handle dock lines and anchors or to lounge on nice days. The tall railings add to safety on deck. Deck gear includes a large vertical windlass, 45lb Delta plow anchor with 200' of 3/8" chain, 4 large fenders, boat hook and plenty of dock-lines.
