Walk Thr

Caribbean Mermaid is accessed through the port and starboard doors entering the deck overtop of the aft cabin. A spacious deck, it has plenty of room for entertaining and enjoying the scenery. The canvas and eisenglass throughout the boat is in good condition and easily stores away for an open air feel. The flybridge is accessed through a companionway entrance from the aft deck. The flybridge is open and spacious and has plenty of seating for passengers and entertaining. The cushions on the fly bridge are in good condition. The fly bridge electronics are dated and the system could use a new consolidated navigation package. Entering the salon through the aft cabin companionway is an open seating and entertaining area, a galley and dining down arrangement and access to the V berth in the bow with two side bunks on the port side. A head is located to starboard. A hanging locker is also to starboard. The aft cabin is accessed through a center, rear salon companionway. The aft cabin is spacious with a large queen sized bunk, plenty of storage and a head to port. The engine room is accessed through a pull up door under the galley steps.

Engines

Cat 3208 power with only 1300 hours. Center rear of the engine room is the Westerbeke generator with just over 1400 hours.

General

The Heritage East Aft Deck 41 is an intelligently laid out vessel, providing the room need for extended stays at sea. The interior lay out was designed into the space limits of the 41 hull so well that the boat feels much larger than the typical 40 footer. The sundeck over the aft cabin and the flybridge are the key features to this vessel. A large aft cabin layout with plenty of head room, wood chested drawers, hanging locker and tables still add beauty to its interior making the boat feel like a home. Multiple port holes surround the aft cabin which also have dark curtains for blocking out the light when needed. Accommodations for two additional guests or family can be had in the V berth with two single berths to port. The warm parquet flooring and woodwork throughout is in good condition and gives the boat a comfortable and inviting feeling.
