MAIN DESCRIPTION
New Horizons is a 2003 42' Ocean Alexander 423 Classico in nice
condition. She offers twin Cummins 330 HP main engines, Northern Lights
8 kW generator, Magnum 2000 watt inverter, oil change system, Sidepower
bow and stern thrusters, Village Marine 600 gpd watermaker, flybridge
hardtop and full Eisenglass enclosure, 2014 10'6" AB tender with Tohatsu
30 HP outboard and a 2 stateroom, 2 head layout. New Horizons is Great
Loop capable.
WALKTHROUGH
From the fiberglass swimplatform you can step up onto the aftdeck
and walk forward on either side deck. Walking forward on the starboard
side deck, you can step up the teak covered, molded-in steps to the
hardtop covered flybridge or step into the salon via the side deck door
forward. Once inside the salon, you will find the lower helm starboard
forward, guest stateroom and head with enclosed shower forward, galley
port forward, lounge chair and ottoman and side deck door to port,
entertainment and storage cabinet port aft, master stateroom with
ensuite head and enclosed shower aft and a wrap-around settee and hi/lo
table starboard aft. Engine room access is via a lift up steps hatch
forward.
The headroom in the salon is 6'5",
6'7" in the master stateroom, 6'2" in the master stateroom shower, 6'5"
in the guest stateroom, 6'3" in the guest shower, 7'2" in the galley and
6'6" on the flybridge. The master stateroom berth is 6'6" long and the
guest stateroom berths are 6'5" long.
ACCOMMODATIONS
New Horizons offers a full beam master stateroom aft with a centerline
queen size berth and ensuite head with enclosed shower; and a guest
stateroom forward with a v-berth. The guest head with enclosed shower
is starboard aft of the stateroom.
42' OCEAN ALEXANDER SALON
The salon offers a
wrap-around settee with hi/lo table starboard aft, side deck access door
starboard forward, side deck access door to port, lounge chair and
ottoman to port, entertainment and storage cabinet port aft, teak
parquet sole, opening side windows with screens and curtains and storage
drawers and cabinets.
