MAIN DESCRIPTION

Nauti Gurl is a stunning 2006 Regal 4460 Commodore that will turn heads and command attention, both on the water and at the dock. Her fixtures, finishes, and workmanship are all first class - everything that is expected of a Regal. The company began in 1969, and is now a second generation family business, headquartered in Orlando, FL. Regal is consistently acknowledged and awarded for their innovative designs and quality manufacturing.

The current owner uses a certified Volvo Penta marine mechanic for all work and routine maintenance. There has been so much done to this vessel that the owner says it is like buying a new boat! The port engine was replaced in 2008, by a previous owner; the starboard engine has been rebuilt as of January 2022.

Nauti Gurl is a sophisticated express cruiser; this girl has style and flair, and her pod drives make her handle like a luxury sports car.

2006 Regal 4460 Vessel Walk Through

As with most express cruisers, Nauti Gurl can be entered via the swim platform, or on the gunnels on either side, depending on the dock. There are two steps up from the swim platform to the deck. The deck has "locking" doors on either side and a black Sunbrella canvas shade cover.  There are two steps up on either side to the sidewalks leading to the foredeck and bow.

The cockpit is one step up from the deck. The helm station is to starboard, and the convertible settee is to port. There is a hardtop with a full Sunbrella and Isinglass enclosure. The center panel of the windshield opens for additional access to the foredeck and bow.

A centerline sliding door with screen leads to the cabin below. There are three half-moon steps into the cabin. The salon and galley on Nauti Gurl will impress you immediately. The galley is to starboard. A settee with table is to port.

The ensuite master stateroom is forward; the ensuite guest stateroom is aft, beneath the bridge.

2006 Regal 4460 Accommodations

SALON

The open-plan of the salon on Nauti Gurl makes her feel like a much bigger luxury yacht. The attention to detail and the meticulous finishes really set this vessel apart from others in her size. There are three Nautique half-moon shaped steps leading into the salon/galley area. A curtain can be snapped over the entry door for privacy. The sole is teak and holly, with high-gloss cherry cabinetry. All of the cabinets are finished on the inside with the same beautiful finish.

The custom LeatherCrest covered settee to port is cream colored with black textured accents. The curve offsets the curve of the galley counter to starboard. There is a high-low cherry table in front of the settee with a compass rose design that can be used to convert the settee to an additional berth. The entire settee features finished storage which is easy to access using the three cushions.

The corners behind the settee have storage cubbies. The aft corner has a mounted reading light; the forward corner has a hidden electrical outlet.

There are three portlights behind the settee with a single accordion pleated blind. Above the portlights are four double doored storage cabinets. A sound bar for the TV is mounted over the cabinets.

The padded headliner, with 6' 7" of headroom, features a mirrored oval with an etched compass rose design that mimics the salon table. There is also a round Bomar hatch with a removable screen. All nine ceiling lights in the salon/galley area are LED.

A framed mirror is on the forward wall next to the entry into the master stateroom.

GALLEY

The galley on Nauti Gurl faces the salon settee. The aft wall has the lighted electrical panel with a smoked glass front door for easy viewing. The electrical switches are very well marked. A mirror is under the panel which helps reflect the light. The side-by-side Nova Kool under-counter refrigerator and freezer are under the mirror. A large storage drawer is beside the mirror next to the sink. A fresh water tank monitor is in the corner; it is easy to access but does not detract from the luxurious design of the interior of Nauti Gurl. A GFI electrical outlet is also mounted under the overhead cabinets.

The Corian countertop is black speckled in keeping with the overall design elements of Nauti Gurl. The lip edge keeps items from sliding off the counter. There is a deep, round, polished stainless steel sink. The panel in the countertop slides back and hides to reveal the Kenyon EuroKera two burner ceramic cooktop. A large Tappan TC1050S convection oven/grill/microwave oven is situated on the countertop.

There are two portlights in the galley with an accordion pleated blind that matches the one over the settee. Courtesy lights are mounted under the cabinets.

Storage is available in the two deep cabinets and one corner cabinet over the galley counter. There are double doors under the sink area. The right door reveals a tall cabinet with a hidden slide-out shelf. The left cabinet reveals three drawers; the top drawer is a cutlery drawer. There are also two large cabinets under the curved portion of the countertop. The right one features two slide-out shelves and a bottom stationary shelf. The left one is a large cabinet, not as deep as the others, which shows that Regal makes use of all space available. The cabinet over the microwave hides the entertainment equipment. A small catch-all drawer is built into the face of the counter.

The curved counter could be used as a small work-station area with a counter height stool.

An Axess flat screen TV and two speakers are mounted on the galley wall facing the salon settee.

MASTER STATEROOM

A pocket door leads from the salon forward into the ensuite master stateroom on Nauti Gurl.

The master stateroom features: a centerline rounded queen bed with fitted bedding, a teak and holly sole with access to the shower sump, a round Bomar hatch with a removable screen, six LED lights in the padded headliner, 6' 6" of headroom, and two reading lights. There is a portlight on either side of the berth with pleated drapes; two deep storage compartments are over the portlights on either side. Additional storage is available in the two drawers under the berth, and the hinged compartment under the mattress. That compartment is finished with a high-gloss wood interior, which shows the attention to detail throughout the entire vessel.

The door into the head is to starboard. There are two steps leading up to the berth to starboard. A rounded cabinet, with two shelves, and a GFI outlet are also to starboard.

The port side of the master stateroom on Nauti Gurl has a teak and holly "bench" height step, beneath the lighted hanging locker with cedar linings. An Axess flat screen TV is mounted to port. The reversible AC/heat control, an electrical outlet, and a CO detector are also located to port.

The mirrored headboard behind the berth has an outline etching of the vessel which lights up in Regal royal blue.

MASTER HEAD

The ensuite master head on Nauti Gurl is to starboard. It features: a full length mirror on the privacy door, a Sealand Vacuflush head, a black speckled lipped countertop, a satin finish stainless steel bowl sink, a built-in soap dispenser, a mirrored double cabinet, three LED lights over the vanity, curtesy lights under the mirrored cabinet, a small storage cabinet under the sink, a 3"x3" neutral tiled floor, 6' 3" of headroom, electrical outlets, an AC/heat vent, and a towel bar.

A separate stall shower is created by closing the clear Plexiglas doors. The shower stall features: a towel bar, a shelf for toiletries, an integrated seat, a removable shower head, a hatch with removable screen, and an opening portlight.

VIP/GUEST STATEROOM

The ensuite VIP stateroom is separated from the master stateroom by the salon, which provides privacy for all overnight guests on Nauti Gurl. It is one step down from the salon and has a two-panel pocket door. The sole inside the door is teak and holly, with carpeting between the berths. The two single berths are athwartship; there is an insert that can be used as a settee back cushion or to convert the single berths into one large double berth. The mirrored headboard opens to reveal storage compartments, and the opening cabinet beneath the mirror provides access to the aft air conditioner. The forward berth has a large finished storage space beneath the mattress.

The VIP stateroom also features: three reading lights, electrical outlets, a reversible AC/heat control, a central vacuum system with hoses and attachments, an Axess flat screen TV, and a deep hanging locker. The changing area has 6' of headroom. The large cabinet to port houses the Splendide 2000S washer/dryer (which was an option) and two storage drawers.

The vanity features: a black speckled lipped countertop, a satin finish stainless steel bowl sink, a built-in soap dispenser, a mirrored two-shelf medicine cabinet, one LED light over the vanity, and a towel bar. The double door storage under the vanity features two storage shelves and two small drawers.

VIP/GUEST HEAD

The VIP head is ensuite to the VIP stateroom on Nauti Gurl. There is a privacy door with a full length mirror. The head is a "wet head" and features: a Sealand Vacuflush head, a one-switch fan and light, a shower curtain, a towel bar, a covered toilet paper roll, 5' 10" of headroom, a shelf with lip for toiletries, mirrors behind the head, a removable shower head, and a black "tile" floor.

2006 Regal 4460 Hull Design/Construction

Nauti Gurl has a fiberglass hull which features the Regal proprietary OceanTrac design. Regal has maintained a constant deep-vee angle from the stern forward. This is meant to maximize speed and the ability to lift quickly and evenly onto plane, and avoid the typical result of the stern digging in and the bow lifting, which can obscure view. There are two wide down-turned chines with two smaller chines above. These work to force spray down and away from the hull, ensuring a soft and dry ride. When the boat is underway air is trapped between the outer edges of the large chines and the keel; Nauti Gurl literally rides on a cushion of air. The hull on Nauti Gurl is black.

2006 Regal 4460 Swim Platform & Lower Cockpit

All of the swim platform and lower and upper cockpit deck surfaces on Nauti Gurl are covered with Nautique. The swim platform has pop-up cleats, a folding swim ladder, and a 50 AMP electric cord with a Glendinning Cablemaster cord stowage system. Dual diesel tank fills are located on either side. A flip of a switch raises the entire transom for engine room access.  The lower cockpit is entered via one of the two "locking" transom doors.

The lower cockpit has a black Sunbrella shade, with a removable full camper canvas back cover with Isinglass windows that has never been used. The fresh water connection is in a storage cabinet to starboard. Also to starboard is the Force 10 propane grill, under a hinged "stone" cover; the propane tank is in the storage locker under the grill. A covered electrical outlet is next to that locker. The large forward facing seat, which converts to a sunpad by lowering the back rest, is white vinyl with black piping, and has a black Sunbrella cover; it has remarkable storage beneath, with a hinged lift.

An aft facing white vinyl with black piping seat also has a black Sunbrella cover. The curved corner lifts off to reveal storage. The seat closest to the upper cockpit entrance folds open to provide quick access to the engine room. There is a handy ladder into the engine room.

There are two steps up from the lower cockpit on either side which provides access to the sidewalks leading to the foredeck and bow. The other features of the lower cockpit include: two open storage cubbies, cup holders, light switches for the engine room and deck, a stereo control panel, Kenwood stereo speakers, and a hot/cold shower.

2006 Regal 4460 Upper Cockpit

The air conditioned upper cockpit on Nauti Gurl has a factory installed hard top with a full Isinglass enclosure. The wet bar is to starboard behind the helm seat. It features: a Corian countertop, a satin finished stainless steel bowl sink with fold-down faucet, and an Edge Star Dual Function refrigerator/freezer behind a vented door. The Fusion stereo and the upper cockpit AC/heat unit (which was an option) are also located near the wet bar.

The helm is forward to starboard. The bolstered double helm seat, with footrest, has electric adjustment. A large storage compartment, with door, is under the helm seat. The burlwood accented helm makes the captain feel like he is at the controls of a luxury sports car. The instrument panel is laid out efficiently.  The tilt steering wheel is polished wood.

A sliding smoked Plexiglas centerline door leads to the cabin below. It locks for security, and has an integrated sliding screen for ventilation. A fabric cover snaps inside the door for privacy.

The upper cockpit features a large U-shaped settee to port, with white vinyl cushions with black piping. There is some storage beneath the aft end. The Corian table can drop down and be filled in with a cushion to make an additional berth or lounge area.

The upper cockpit also features: two Boss stereo speakers, a Plexiglas navigational chart station, a Nautique deck, two Nautique steps up to the opening window in the windshield, a hardtop with one red LED light, two blue LED lights, two white LED lights, two directional white LED lights, three cup holders behind the settee, a cup holder at the helm, two stainless steel bottle/cup holders forward of the settee, a heavy stainless steel windshield frame, a Taylor Made Clear Curve windshield, one windshield wiper to starboard, and an electric vent in the windshield.

2006 Regal 4460 Foredeck & Bow

The foredeck on Nauti Gurl can be reached via the sidewalks with sufficient hand rails, or through the windshield directly from the upper cockpit. Most of the deck is taken up by the "Tuxedo" pattern Sunbrella sun pad. The sun pad has an adjustable back rest and a black Sunbrella cover. There are also two cup holders on each side of the sun pad.

The bow on Nauti Gurl  features: the chrome spotlight, a Lewmar windlass with foot controls, the fresh water tank fill, and two flush deck lockers for storing fenders and lines. The starboard side locker has an anchor wash down. The anchor locker on the bow houses the chain and rode for the Delta stainless steel anchor.
