"Altair" is a classic Ted Hood designed Bristol 43.3 center-cockpit cruiser with a centerboard for a 4’5” shoal draft with the board up. She is a cruising sloop with two staterooms and two heads. The 43.3 combines the best features of all of the Hood center-cockpit series.

Accommodations:

"Altair" is a Center Cockpit layout. From the base of the companionway ladder you have a keyhole shaped Galley to starboard and a forward facing Navigation Station to port. The Main Salon has a centerline dropleaf table, L shaped settee to port (converts to double) and a single straight settee to starboard.

Going forward from the main salon there is a guest head with wand shower, sink and vanity. There is access to the head from either the main cabin or the forward V berth (with filler) guest cabin.

Going aft from the main salon on the portside you will pass the nav station and enter a passageway to the aft owner's cabin. One of the Bristol 43.3 main features that sets it apart from the 41.1 and the 45.5 is the centerline double Island Berth in the owner's cabin. (in the 41.1 & 45.5 this owner's berth is a athwartship double). The storage is abundant and there is also an ensuite head with a separate shower stall, manual head and sink/vanity

Engine room access is from the passageway, owner's cabin, aft head shower stall and galley
