Accommodations

The Catalina 36 provides comfortable accommodations for family and friends and features two separate staterooms, a dinette that sleeps 2, a settee sleeps 1, plus 6'5" headroom.one. The boat is light, bright, and airy with a large companionway, 8 fixed ports, 7 screened hatches and 4 screened ports.


The forward cabin has a V-berth and five lockers for storage. Double door hanging locker with bureau top and mirrored locker above, shelf storage on three sides, large screened hatch above.

Next aft to port is the spacious head with vanity, mirrored locker, shower seat, non-skid flooring and ample storage lockers. Adjacent to starboard is a four drawer bureau with roll-top TV/VCR cabinet above with shelf storage above that.

The main salon has a U-shaped dinette that converts to a "double. Across to starboard is a two chair arrangement with a hide-away table in between (converts to a settee) which is perfect for one couple dining or playing cards. There is plenty of storage under all settees and dinette areas. 

Next aft is the dedicated navigation station with chair, ample room for electronics, electrical panel and a flip-top chart table.


The galley is a functional 'L' shape, with composite counter tops and sinks are near centerline for proper drainage underway. A large refrigerated ice box is aft and a dry food locker is forward. The stainless steel stove with oven is gimbaled,

Next aft is the spacious private guest stateroom with dressing area with seat, queen sized berth, hanging locker, four drawers, two overhead screened hatches and a backrest for in-bed reading.
