"LEGACY" 1984 44' DeFever. Legacy is a very clean 44 DeFever with no exterior teak to maintain and worry about. Her entire exterior has been painted with Awlgrip, and her decks are sky blue nonskid. Her systems underwent a major overhaul/upgrade between 1999 - 2000 by her previous owner.

Legacy is a very clean 44 DeFever with no exterior teak to maintain and worry about. Her entire exterior has been painted with Awlgrip, and her decks are sky blue nonskid.


Her systems underwent a major overhaul/upgrade between 1999 - 2000 by her previous owner....

* Naiad Hydraulic Stabilizers installed

* Out of frame rebuild of her Lehman Engines & Transmissions

* New Northern Lights 10kw Generator installed

* The entire waste system was replaced (new electric heads/plumbing/tankage.

* New Sea Recovery Watermaker installed


Legacy was purchased in 2006 by her current owners, who have continued to maintain and upgrade her for the last 14 years.

They have kept a Maintenance Log and have receipts for the major work done, and have taken annual oil samples for the Engines/Transmissions & Generators during the last five years.

MAIN DESCRIPTION

"LEGACY" 1984 44' DeFever



Legacy is a very clean 44 DeFever with no exterior teak to maintain and worry about. Her entire exterior has been painted with Awlgrip, and her decks are sky blue nonskid.

WALKTHROUGH

Legacy can be boarded from her swim platform or aluminum boarding ladder directly accessing her Sundeck, which has privacy boards and full protection with roll down sunshades. Headroom is 6'4".
 
The  Flybridge is quite large and has full length settees for sleeping and she has a removable chart table to starboard, which has a plexiglass top to secure a full size chart while underway. A top loading freezer is aft portside.
Legacy has a tender davit (needs motor) and storage box on her boat deck
.
Her U-shape Galley is conveniently located aft with a passthrough to the sundeck.
Legacys' interior teak and fabrics are in excellent condition. 
Her Salon is equipped with L-shaped settee and a Hi/Lo dinning table. A large desk is to starboard. Window treatments are in excellent shape. Headroom is 6'6".
Legacy has a rare centerline lower helm with port & starboard doors which provides good visibility/access when docking, also the companionway to the forward stateroom is offset, providing more space below.

The Forward Stateroom has a large v-berth with two 12 volt fans, and an ensuite head for privacy. Headroom is 6'10".

Her stand-up Engine Room is accessed from the forward stateroom.

Legacy has her Master Stateroom aft with dedicated head. She has an island queen berth with abundant storage, and a vanity desk. The laundry room to starboard has been converted to closet/storage. Two 12 volt fans circulate air. Headroom is 6'4".
