Description
Arthur DeFever's 44 Offshore, Great Loop capable, Cruiser is a popular modern classic for cruising and for living aboard. The design remains popular because she is comfortable, safe, functional and attractive. She's a full displacement, heavily built trawler on a solid fiberglass hull. Under water running gear is protected by a deep keel and stout struts. Outside spaces include a large covered aft deck. The fly-bridge is spacious with commanding views for navigation or docking. The dinghy is stored aft of the fly-bridge.
Below decks, the teak interior is arranged with the galley mid-ship to port and on the same level as the main saloon living and entertainment space. Sleeping accommodations are in two cabins. The master stateroom is aft and features a walk-around Sleep Number queen and ensuite head with a stall shower. The forward guest quarters provide two bunks in a vee-berth configuration. One highlight of this DeFever 44 is a large, well lit, walk-in engine room. Sea Grace spent her time in fresh water from May 2015 to August 2019 and was stored at Winter Harbor's indoor heated facility for the winters from 2015-16, 2017-18 and 2018-19.
