Hanusia is a 1991 46' Grand Banks Classic trawler in nice condition. She offers twin Caterpillar 3208TA 375 HP main engines, Onan 8 kW generator, Naiad stabilizers, bowthruster, oil change system, watermaker, inverter, portable solar panels, line cutters, AIS, Novurania 335 DL tender with a Yamaha 25 HP outboard, 2 stateroom, 2 head layout with an enclosed shower in each head and a full beam master stateroom aft with a centerline queen size berth. Hanusia is a Great Loop veteran and has cruised from the U.S. West Coast to the U.S. East Coast via the Panama Canal. Hanusia is presently stored on the hard, but is accessible for inspection. A 1,000 hour service interval was recently completed on the main engines.

46' Grand Bank Vessel Walkthrough

From the teak swimplatform, you enter the aftdeck via the transom gate and walk forward on either side deck. On the port side, you can step up two steps to the trunk cabin and flybridge. Walk further forward on either side and enter the salon via one of the side deck access doors. Entering the salon via the port side deck door, you will find two chairs and a storage cabinet to port, counter port forward, wrap-around seating with storage and a folding teak table starboard aft, master stateroom companionway aft, lounge chair to starboard and the lower helm, helmseat and a side deck access door starboard forward. Walk forward and step down to find the guest head with enclosed shower to starboard, the galley to port and the guest stateroom with a v-berth forward. Engine room access is via salon sole hatches.

The headroom in the salon is 6'6", 6'5" in the galley, 6'7" in the guest stateroom, 6'3" in the guest shower, 6'6" in the master stateroom, 6'4" in the master stateroom shower and 6'8" on the flybridge. The master stateroom berth is 6'8" long and the guest stateroom berths are also 6'8" long. The seating in the salon can be used as a berth and it is 6'8" long.

The height from the waterline to the flybridge windscreen is 14'6" and to the top of the bimini it is 18'1".

46' Grand Bank Accommodations

Hanusia offers a full-beam master stateroom aft with a centerline queen size berth and an ensuite head with an enclosed shower; and a guest stateroom forward with a v-berth. The guest head with enclosed shower is to starboard aft of the guest stateroom and across from the galley. The salon wrap-around seating can also be used as a berth.

The salon offers wrap-around seating with storage and a folding teak table starboard aft, a lounge chair to starboard, side deck access door port and starboard forward, a counter port forward, two chairs and a storage cabinet to port, teak parquet sole, book shelf, opening side and aft windows with screens and curtains, storage drawers and reading lights.

Curtis Stokes was born in Lewes, Delaware and grew up in nearby Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and St. Michaels, MD until he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1992. Curtis grew up on the water and around boats through many years of fishing, sailing and hunting up and down the East Coast of the U.S. and The Bahamas.

 

While attending Washington College, in Chestertown, Maryland, Curtis decided to obtain his real estate license and joined his father’s real estate firm, Anderson-Stokes Realtors. Curtis became president of the firm after his father’s death and led the company through its expansion to 20 offices and expanded the publicly traded company into insurance, advertising and development. The company was sold in 1991 and Curtis decided to pursue his real love of the water and made yachting his career.

 

Curtis’ yachting career includes everything from a 75’ Trumpy to a 180’ Feadship, 2½ circumnavigations and a half dozen Atlantic Ocean crossings. He has been associated with and enjoyed worldwide cruising on such well known vessels as EXCELLENCE, FIFFANELLA, OUR TOY, MOECCA, RENEGADE, KISSES and HUNTRESS. Curtis also gained experience as sales manager at Hatteras Yachts, in New Bern, NC, where he helped develop and sell new models and train and coordinate his dealer network.

 

Curtis then spent six years as a very successful yacht sales broker with The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals, Inc. Curtis was consistently a top producer at the firm. Curtis decided to form his own yacht sales and charter firm September 1, 2009, which took off on a very successful start, even in a recession! Curtis has grown the company to multiple offices and 50 full time sales associates located around the US; and he has sold virtually every type and size of yacht and boat possible.

 

Curtis held a USCG 3000 ton All Oceans Master license, UK MCA Class IV Master certificate, Cayman Islands Master certificate and a PADI Divemaster certificate. He is also a former Emergency Medical Technician, firefighter and CPR instructor. 

 

Curtis is an active member of the America’s Great Loop Cruiser Association (AGLCA), Superyacht Society, United States Superyacht Association, Marine Trawler Owner Association (MTOA), DeFever Cruiser Club, Seven Seas Cruising Association, Billfish Foundation, International Gamefish Association and Ducks Unlimited.

 

Curtis also is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB), a member of the International Yacht Broker Association, Yacht Broker Association of America and the Northwest Yacht Broker Association.
