MAIN DESCRIPTION

Rebecca Lynn is a fine example of the popular Traditional designed Monk 36. She offers a simple reliable workhorse Perkins 135 naturally aspirated diesel engine and Vetus bow thruster with controls at both helms. In the last year, the owners have replaced the bimini, salon cushions and curtains and master berth mattress. This Monk design is a popular cruising boat as it provides three boarding access points to the walkaround decks guarded by high stout rails, port and starboard doors to the interior and easy access to the flybridge. Rebecca Lynn is as equally qualified to cruise the Great Loop and the Bahamas as it is for weekend adventures.

MONK 36 WALKTHROUGH

Rebecca Lynn can be boarded through starboard, port and stern gates.  The generous safe  walkaround decks  protected by tall stout rails lead to molded steps up to the flybridge with full electronics and dual helm seats.  Port and starboard side doors lead to the interior lower helm, salon and galley.  Sliding, screened windows contribute light and cross ventilation to the area.  The galley is located starboard aft of the lower helm with generous cabinetry, three burner cooktop, inverter microwave and 7 cu/ft refrigerator/freezer.  To port is the L-shaped salon seating with storage below.  Down a few steps aft is the master suite.  The berth is surrounded by storage cabinets and hanging lockers and offers opening portlights port and starboard and an overhead hatch equipped with a fan.  A transom window adds extra outside light in.  The ensuite head offers a sink with vanity for storage, electric flush toilet and separate shower/tub with a teak bench and opening portlight.  Forward of the salon down a few steps is the guest suite with a generous vee-berth, storage locker and opening portlights starboard and port and overhead hatch.  The attached head offers electric flush toilet, vanity and sink with shower attachment.
